My elderly mother was moving and I called Moving and Storage of Jacksonville to assist us with this move. From start to finish, this moving company exceeded my expectations. My mother likes things to be done a certain way. Moving and Storage of Jacksonville, listened to what she wanted and did not dismiss her feelings. The entire team was incredibly professional, efficient and cared about my mother's belongings. They handled everything with the upmost care, ensuring a smooth and stress-free move. For the most part, I thoroughly appreciated Ocean Movers. One thing that took me back was ( the person in charge), he informed me that he was not going to assist in the moving unless I paid extra. I was not prepared for this. I’ve never experienced a crew showing up and having to pay extra for everybody to jump in. On a very positive note, I have a very sentimental SHIPS wheel (belonged to my late husband ) that somehow got damaged in the move and one of its beckets was completely missing. I was devastated. I called the company to inform them and they went over and beyond to find the missing Beckett. It was located and the company had it delivered directly to my door. Other than that, I would highly recommend and rehire this company for any future moves I may have!

The move was done professionally and timely. It took longer than expected but nothing was broken or missing.

But, like all moves ensure someone from the owner’s side is watching to assist in the placement of furniture and other items. If not the move could take longer than expected.

Having said the above I would use this company again.

The team was great overall with my move. The team loaded & unloaded all of my boxes & furniture. Also they set up my furniture & nothing was damaged. The team ensured that the furniture & boxes were placed where I wanted Just made my move so much easier.

Ocean Movers did a great job moving my son’s belongings from a storage unit to a third floor apartment. I will definitely use them in the future. Highly recommend.
