The team at H&D Ballasalla are just awesome! My Little boy (2 year old) has come on leaps and bounds since starting in September 2021. The ladies are fun, patient and caring and we couldn’t ask for more! They also managed to get the best nursery photos of my little man, I’m just chuffed with them!!! My daughter spent the last 12 months with Ballasalla Hopes and Dreams, she had never been in a nursery setting before but she instantly felt at ease from the moment she started, which instantly made me as a parent feel at ease!
My daughter would come home telling me all about the different activities the nursery had done each day, and how caring the staff were!
All of the staff members were amazing with me as well, I couldn’t have imagined sending my daughter to another nursery. They go above and beyond not just for your child but to ensure you are okay as well!
My daughter has come on so much in her confidence and knowledge in life from being here, and I will truly never forget the staff that played a big part in that☺️ all I can say is thank you all! ❤️

Our daughter started Hopes & Dreams in January just as we went into lockdown. Throughout the lockdowns we had the most fantastic group at Ballasalla checking in with us all and helping with ideas to keep the children busy. It was faultless. Since being back, my daughter has come on leaps and bounds.. she started with limited vocabulary and not even really stringing a sentence together, but 9 months later we’re having having full conversations and her confidence has soared. She’s no longer as shy as she used to be, always runs into the nursery excited in the mornings and the staff there are the most wonderful people I could leave my daughter with. It’s important to know that the staff care for your child like you do when you’re not there and we regularly are told by our daughter that ‘XX made me happy today’ or ‘XX gave me cuddles today’, ‘XX put plasters on me and made me all...

My experience has been a positive one threw from hopes and dreams at the Buchan to now Rushen school nursery and they always very friendly and happy to tell me about my child without request. He loves the staff there aswell which makes it so much easier to leave him.

Hopes & Dreams have been brilliant with our daughter since she started with them. Harper has come on so much, becoming more independent in everyday life. She has so much fun and goes on great adventures, the staff are so caring towards all the children and the food provided is amazing. We would highly recommend Hopes & Dreams to anyone

Caring and nurturing environment for children to grow and thrive. Children learn and progress through curiosity and play. My child actively wants to attend and would go every day given half a chance. I feel confident he is safe and happy and I have every confidence in the staff and the management team. Would highly recommend Hopes and Dreams (my child attends Parklands which is simply amazing).

My daughter hasn't been going long but she's always happy to go and happy when I pick her up. Staff are friendly and it's always great to have a quick chat about her day.

From the first minute my daughter stepped through the door, she has been welcomed into the Hopes & Dreams family. She has grown in confidence and ability as the staff have encouraged her to express herself and explore her interests and her identity. She loves group activities but also enjoys crafting on her own which the staff embrace and cater for.

The outside space is fantastic and regular nature trips are organised for the children to explore the outdoors and the world around them.

I would recommend Hopes & Dreams to any parent or carer. It is a wonderful environment for your child to learn, play and socialise.

As soon as my son is two he will be straight through the door!

Over the moon with parklands nursery (The clue is in the name; hopes & dreams) the staff are accommodating to your child's every needs and provide healthy nutritional meals and snacks.
They are good at communicating with you and keep on top of the app for your child's progress on a daily basis.
My daughter loves her nursery and the nursery and staff most definitely love having her there, all the staff are so caring and go above and beyond to help when they can!
I don't think I could sing their praises enough!!!!!!

My little girl goes to Ballasalla Preschool and absolutely LOVES it! She gets so excited to go there in the mornings and comes out happier than when she went in 🥰 she loves doing all of the activities that they do and comes home exhausted, which just shows she has had a brilliant day! She adores all of the staff there and talks about them all of the time. We chose this preschool because of how great they are and also for the convenience of being next to the school she will be at. It helps her get used to being in the school grounds ready for September. I would 110% recommend here, it is just amazing!!

My son had never been with a care provider before starting his Pre School year at Hopes and Dreams and it has been a really positive experience so far. The staff are wonderful and my son really loves his time there. We are really pleased we chose to move with Hopes and Dreams when they left the Buchan site.😊

My little boy goes to Ballasalla nursery. He absolutely loves going, he has come on so well. The staff are amazing. They very good at communicating with you about your child. So friendly and welcoming. A credit to hopes and dreams. I would highly recommend hopes and dreams.

My son loves going to hopes and dreams, he runs straight in and we have no fuss. There are lots of exciting things for him to do and keep him busy including a large outdoor are for him to explore. I love the child-led approach and that the children are free to express themselves. All of the staff are friendly and professional and you can tell they really care about each child. I love that I can see what he has been up too on the app and check what’s he’s eaten etc throughout the day. 10/10!

Both my children have attended H&D (2-3's and pre school). I can't recommend them enough. Such a fab team who truly care about the children and enrich their daily lives and their development. I really can't fault anything!

Isaacs is absolutely love being at school at the minute used to be a nightmare dropping him off but the teachers have been amazing with him and now we can’t get him to leave when we pick him up he’s made loads of friends and loves all his teachers very much

What an amazing approach to learning. The staff are so welcoming and caring, they really take the time to tell you what your child has enjoyed in the day. I love the parent link app where we can follow our sons learning journey and he loves going out on the adventure days. The resources available and the setting that Parklands is in is just stunning as well, we feel very lucky that he is able to spend his last year before school with you.

My daughter just loves the new space at Rushen for Hopes and Dreams! The curiosity approach fits with our love at home for open ended wooden toys and the amount of sensory activities available all the time through the Rushen space really means she runs in for every session eager to do something. She looks forward to going and enjoys nurturing relationships with staff and new friends alike. The staff are so approachable and I feel like we really work as a team together for my daughter's best interests. They know her so well, and we're always on the same page. In recent weeks she's regressed a bit with her toileting and they are supportive and understanding and know it's just one of those phases children go through. I am so thankful they also keep an eye on my son who's in reception just over the playground fence and was with the staff for his preschool year. I will never...

Hopes and Dreams really is a very special home away from home. All the staff are so caring and genuinely seem to build individual relationships. Each day is different and allows the children to explore the learning environment themselves.
My daughter has grown so much in such a short space of time in areas from dancing and singing to her food tastes.
I would not hesitate to recommend Hopes and Dreams to any other parent.
I’m very excited for the growth they will support over the next year.

My daughter Sophie first began attending Hopes and Dreams at age 3, shortly after moving to the Isle of Man from abroad. She’d lived all of her life in an extremely small community so the busy pace of Douglas was quite a shock to her and made for a difficult transition at first. The amazing staff at Hopes and Dreams helped her to settle in and adapt quickly. She’s really been able to grow and thrive there. Now she’s finishing up in the preschool class with so much more confidence, new abilities, and friends. She absolutely loves going every day and telling us about all of her adventures and showing off her new skills when she gets home. We are sad to be leaving the Hopes and Dreams family in September, but will have lots of happy memories to look back on. We’d highly recommend Hopes and Dreams to anyone looking for the right place for their child.

Hopes & Dreams has just been that for us.
Max had been to a previous nursery and did not thrive as he should and this changed from day one in Hopes & Dreams. He was shown from first day patience and understanding and this increased so much Max became much happier boy. His speech improved greatly (which had been a concern) and he began to interact with other children. Max is now about to progress to the preschool a more confident child.
Hopes & Dreams make you feel like you’re part of a family - and not a business. Everything they do is with the child and their best interests in mind.

We have been delighted with the staff and facilities at parklands. Both of our children have had a brilliant experience and we have seen them grow in confidence and learn so much. One of our children has special dietary needs which the team have been ableist to accommodate without our child ever having to feel different. We would definitely recommend parklands to friends and other parents.

We have found the entire parklands experience a delight. Our daughter has enjoyed every minute, she loves the staff and she has flourished and developed in many ways. We are very satisfied parents and would recommend parklands wholeheartedly. Thank you!
