We used IT For mold inspections on a home we were buying, and they were extremely thorough very quick to return any calls, very professional, answered all our questions, and since they have their own processing lab on site, you can get your results back much quicker. We would recommend IET to anyone looking to do air quality and mold inspections in their home! We would give them 10 stars if we could.

We've twice received inspections from Rich, first as an apartment resident and then as a prospective home-buyer. The inspection report in each case was very thorough and enabled us to push for appropriate repairs and quotes respectively. We will continue to reach out in the future for all mold assessment needs. Matthew and the team at IET are great to work with, professional from the office to the technicians and specialist that performed the work. They were quick to respond in our time of need and got the inspection and evaluation done quickly to help us with our listing and home inspections . They gave me back my faith in people - after having dealt with some dishonest and incompetent inspectors that could have cost us a lot of money if it had not been for the team at IET. She conducted a comprehensive inspection and testing that was exactly what we were looking for. Her reporting was thorough, detailed and provided me valuable insights on the safety of our home. These guys really know their stuff. They only do testing and inspection. Some of the most knowledgeable people we’ve come across when it comes to handling mold. My home had a situation and multiple companies dropped the ball. IET and Tim did not. They helped us figure out the cause and I was then able to hire another company that executed their work plan. Got a great result and the air is clean!

Excellent responsiveness...

I highly recommend IET for your residential air quality testing. They are receptive to what you have to say, do a very professional job, and are quite responsive to post-testing questions and concerns. They provided me with a thorough report describing the test results, along with recommendations to mitigate potential problem areas. All the technicians and staff were courteous, helpful, and responsive. If I should need more air quality testing in the future I will most definitely turn to IET.

We certainly are thankful we enlisted IET's help with air quality assessment at a property we were interested in purchasing. Initial inspections demonstrated some areas of concern for mold that were almost trivialized; however, we wanted expert review and contacted IET. We were restricted on time and their expert was able to perform an inspection within the period allotted (on the same day, actually), and provided a detailed analysis on humidity levels, moisture, and evidence of mold. They saved us from a potentially very costly mistake!

I had IET do some work at my house a few months ago and they were outstanding. Last week I called them with an unrelated question and they took the time to understand exactly what was going on and referred me to someone local who could help fix my issue. I can’t overstate how much I appreciate having competent folks who really want to help get issues resolved, not just do work. I wouldn’t hesitate to call again.

A bubble had been forming on the ceiling in our condo's bathroom and had gotten bigger over time. I finally decided to try to peel off a little part and peak under the bubble where it's starting point was since it ran along to the end of the ceiling. The bubble of drywall just peeled off and I could see the studs and seam were now exposed in the ceiling but I was even more alarmed to see what appeared to be a dark black mold spot that had formed. I decided to look up Mold Experts and first called a highly rated Remediation company who let me know I must first call an Environmental Expert separately to come inspect the mold so there is no conflict of interest by law. The Environmentalist the other company referred me to was ridiculously costly and would charge for an Asbestos Test AND a Mold Test. I decided not to call based on that info and chose to do another search on google. I read...
