While I was thinking I might require the procedure I wasn’t quite ready for it. The staff and doctor all took time to explain what was going to happen and answered my questions. I would not recommend having both wrists done on the same day (like I did) as my hands and fingers remained numb for a full day. This made doing most things almost impossible, button/zip pants, brush teeth, hold fork-knife-glass,etc. I was concerned on day two with the amount of blood from one of the incisions and called for advise. Of course being a Saturday I got the doctors service so I left my name and number and was pleased to get a call back in just a few minutes. The doctor listened to my issue and reassured me it was not a problem. He also said if I needed him just to call again and we could discuss the issue. Today is Wednesday and everything is starting to feel normal again. So as of now I would say I made the right decision.
