I live on Google reviews and will not use someone with a bad rating because, there is a reason they were rated poorly. However, I must say the owner of HelloPro gave me one of the best impressions before the inspection of any business in a long time. However, upon completing the inspection, I was made aware of an additional service to have cost of repairs quoted within a day. What a great add on - especially if you are buying a house - granted it was ballpark on a few things, but still it is good to have hard numbers for negotiating an offer contingent on home inspection issues. Also, the inspection used infrared which makes room-by-room inspections much more thorough. I would have wanted perhaps a few more pictures of basement, foundation, and evidence of functioning of applicances, but overall, I appreciated what they included. Mr. Andrews was extremely thorough presenting video, photo and written findings. We were able to see everything from the roof, attic space, interior, and crawl space as well as thermal imaging to see if there were any hot spots in the walls. He gave recommendations ahead of the purchase of the house so we could decide what will need immediate attention and we can make a plan for the rest. James and HelloPro are the real deal! I had an experience probably different from most. HelloPro represented the buyer on a recent contract so I was the "subject" of the home inspection. At first I was a little taken aback by the number and scope of items noted in the report. It was extensive but I could not argue with what HelloPro noted. So, they are thorough. HelloPro was also on contract for a CL100 (termite inspection. Ultimately that contract fell through and I frankly forgot that I had paid for the CL100 in advance. One day I got a call from James reminding me about the payment. Since under our new contract the buyer pays for CL100 James was very accommodating in refunding my payment. That is what I call follow up on a business deal. Bottom line? HelloPro and James are professional, hire them!

James, Alex, and their associates are the absolute best to work with. We were more than welcome to come along on inspection day. These guys took as much time as we needed to explain and answer all of our questions. They left no stone unturned. They took several opportunities to educate us along the way about the house. They get under the house, they get on top of the roof, they get up in the attic. They check your electrical system, plumbing, air conditioning, and pretty much anything related to the home that we take for granted. My husband and I were very pleased with HelloPro Home Inspections, LLC. We were living in New York State and was having a house built in S Carolina. We was unable to watch the building process of our new home because of living so far away. I called HelloPro to do the final inspection. They explained how and what they would do as far as the inspection. We had a couple of concerns about the land elevation and they addressed our concerns plus more. Called early in the day to ask (not demand) if they could change the appointment time since they had another appointment close by. They took the time to explain what they were looking at during the inspection and also explained why things were deficient (or if they seemed deficient to the untrained eye but really weren't).
