Heart to Heart Adoptions

So I had given a review previously while still in the process of getting with the agency. This review is after having dealt with them for the past almost 3 months. My first review was based off of the "enrollment" process. Michelle kept all of her promises and followed through on everything she said that she would do. The agency had someone meet me at the airport to help me fly out to Utah with my kids. She was so kind and patient with my kids. I loved the apartment and everyone at the agency was so kind and welcoming. Everyone that I came into contact with had an effect on me and showed me that it was ok to be me and be honest about how I felt and what I wanted. They let me personalize my adoption experience to be exactly what I wanted it to be because this was after all about me and my decision to place a piece of my heart. We adopted our baby girl a month ago and it all went great! Lisa helped us in the beginning and was so nice at the discouraging times and my anxiousness, so sweet about it and making me feel so good and hopeful, Linda helped us as well and was the one who was with us through the entire matching process and who made my entire world telling us we matched! It was a beautiful experience, and so thankful and grateful for them and everyone that helped, and the angel that was meant to be with us, meeting the birth mother was such a special beautiful moment, who is such a blessing in our lives and then holding our girl was the greatest thing and feeling I could ever imagine. Heart to heart has been amazing to work with. The adoption process can be really daunting. They were so personable and easy to work with. Never made me feel bad for calling or emailing often with questions, had plenty of situations coming in for us to review. We felt that everything they did was very ethical and worked in favor of taking care of the expectant mothers in their care, which was very important to us. We never felt like they had forgotten about us even though they have so much on their plates. Through them we found the situation that was right for us and our baby is bringing us SO much JOY. Working with Heart to Heart was a breath of fresh air! Having previously worked with another agency, and being utterly mortified by how thing were run, I had doubts about adoption as a whole. But when I started working with Heart to heart, from beginning to end and beyond I have felt so supported as an adoptive parent! Doing adoption as a single parent was a hard journey, but when working with Heart to Heart I constantly felt like I had support and people to process things with. They were there for everything I could possibly need and the birth mother I matched with also felt the support and love from the agency. It made the journey amazing for both of us!
