Growing Kids Ireland South Bend

We absolutely love Growing Kids Learning Center! As first time parents, we were very nervous to leave our 1 year old daughter, however her teachers and the office staff eased our minds. Miss Alyssa, Miss Elizabeth, and Miss Jessica greeted us in the morning with a warming smile and answered all of our questions, and then her teachers, Miss Ann and Miss Cindy, were so helpful when we got into our daughter’s classroom. They were so welcoming! Our daughter has been at Growing Kids for a year now and is thriving. We are so amazed with how much she is learning every day! The environment is clean and welcoming, and the staff are communicative and friendly. They have an open door policy, which gives us a peace of mind. We’re able to call and check on our daughter or drop in whenever. It’s clear that our daughter is safe and loved here.

My original review got deleted on accident, so will write this again. We have two daughters who attend GK. Our baby is in the infant room and all her teachers are awesome (Miss Sydney, Miss Britni, Miss Anna, Miss Hiral). They all are so sweet and take the time to learn each baby and their needs. Our oldest is in one of the preschool rooms and Miss Tara, Miss Hannah and Miss Jasmine are all great with her. She loves to go to school. We love that she gets a nutritious breakfast, lunch and snack and we absolutely love that no TV's are in the room. We are a very low screen time family and this is great. Our last daycare had them and our oldest daughter was like a walking zombie and absolutely terrible to pick up everyday. Now she comes running to me and her behavior is so much better.

Growing Kids is like a second home to myself and my kids. Miss Britni in the baby room has been a second mama to both my babies. My son adores going to school at Growing Kids everyday. He asks to go multiple time on the weekends. And our daughter is following in his footsteps. Her little face lights up when her teachers walk into the room. We are so thankful to have such an amazing school for our kids to grow up going to.

My child started preschool here a few months ago and there’s nothing bad to say, only gratitude for his teachers Ms Anna and Ms Hannah and the amazing staff.

My child loves going each day and playing and learning. I can see how much his teachers (Ms Anna and Ms Hannah) love what they do and their dedication for caring for the children.

Its always clean, they put up fun seasonal decorations, they have fun events (like trunk or treat), they feed the children nutritious meals and snacks, the indoor play area (Mainstreet) seems so fun, and the children are able to go outside each day depending on the weather. I couldn’t recommend growing kids enough, and I’m so grateful we chose here as a preschool.

I have two sons who have gone to Growing Kids on Ireland Rd for a combined total of 6 years. My son who is now in second grade frequently says that he wishes he still went to "school" at Growing Kids. From a kid's perspective, it is friendly, kind, supportive, engaging, empowering, and FUN. They have many elements that get baked into the curriculum: gardening, yoga, art, music. They also offer some other additional programs that kids can participate in during their normal hours: soccer, dance, drama class, etc.
From a parents perspective: they do an amazing job with communication, teaching the kids incredibly important skills. All the teachers arefantastic, but Miss Nikki, Miss Caryn, Miss Anna, Miss Avy, and Miss Cindy especially are absolutely amazing with the kids. It truly feels like leaving my kids in a building FULL of aunties, who know my son and his quirks....

All the teachers ( Miss Sydney, Miss Britni, Miss Anna, Miss Hiral) in the infant room are so good with our daughter, they love her and have cared for her like their own. We also have a daughter in one of the preschool rooms and all the teachers in there (Miss Tara, Miss Hannah, Miss Jasmine) are super sweet and caring and our daughter is thriving and growing. I also appreciate all the nutritious breakfast, lunch and snacks they are provided. This is helpful as a working parent to not have to worry about packing and providing food for them during the day. And we also appreciate the no TV's in the classrooms as we are a very limited screen time family. Our last daycare had TV's in the 2 year and older rooms and it was awful. They constantly were on and our daughter was a zombie at the end of the day and she was awful to pick up. Lots of meltdowns and tantrums. Now picking her up...

My 4 children have attended Growing Kids for 2 months after being transitioned from their previous childcare, after being there many years, and i have nothing less than exceptional things to say! Destiny, Hailey, Avy, Jen, Cindy & Ann are all amazing. My children literally run into daycare every morning excited to see their teachers which make me feel great knowing they are safe, cared for and loved while i am at work. I am so grateful for them and am glad my kids have such amazing teachers.

Our daughter is 2 1/2 and loves Ms. Denasia. She’s excited to go to school every day and that means the world to us. She talks about her friends and what she does in class. She especially loves playing in the outdoor area and in “Main Street”. Thank you to each of the staff members at this location, but especially Ms. Denasia, for loving and caring for our daughter.

My child is always excited to go to school and learn new things! Miss Jess and Jordan have done amazing things to help my daughter flourish! Miss Brandi and Miss Carla are running a wonderful center and should be proud! I always feel that my daughter is safe and well taken care of. It’s amazing to think when I was a child I attended Growing kids and now I am sending my daughter here!

My son has been attending the Ireland Road Center for the past 3.5 years, and he has learned so much during this time. As he gets ready to start kindergarten next week, I know he is ready for this new adventure with special thanks to Miss Tara and Miss Destiny! We will definitely miss our Growing Kids family❤️

Very professional and great prices. I'd suggest you enroll with auto pay. It makes a big difference. They have a fingerprint entry system for parents. That alone makes you feel quite secure about your children. On top of that they have a key card entry system to get into the building. The front office staff is extremely friendly and inviting. They know which parent belongs to each child. The assistant school administrator is phenomenal and knows what is happening in the school at all times. They have security cameras in every room to monitor all activities. The menu is great and has introduced my child to new foods. Though in a temporary space. They have made due and provided an excellent learning environment that my child craves to return to daily. My son LOVES going to school everyday!! The director, assistant director, and teachers are amazing!! I appreciated seeing the assistant director at one of the Triple P events as well. I can’t believe it took me so long to finally decide to send him here. Thank you Growing Kids!! ❤️🙏🏼

My child is doing extremely well in Mrs. Laura’s PS5 class. I appreciate the variety of things that she is being taught that isn’t common in a lot of the other classrooms. She’s also being exposed to STEM education! Thanks Ms. Laura for all you do!!

The children have time to play of course, but everything they do is centered on learning. They are amazing with their pre-K classes. They help our children get on the right track and prepared for school. I’m so thankful for the wonderful staff that have taken care of my children and the amazing director Jessica. Jessica is so pleasant and easy to speak to. I couldn’t picture my children being in another daycare. We know everyone there and our family is very know as well. I highly recommend them!

5 star because it was a good daycare. But, site currently CLOSED as a tornado has destroyed the building. As of 8/15/19 the building is completely torn down. They do intend to rebuild but no released timeline.

Both of our children attend Growing Kid on SR 23. We have had nothing short of a phenomenal experience with everyone we have been in contact with.

Our oldest is in the Young Preschool class with Miss Ashley and Miss Brittney, and has completely flourished. He has learned how to express his emotions without yelling and throwing things, his language has increased tenfold, and he is genuinely happy to be in the classroom everyday.

Our youngest started attending Growing Kids just shy of his first birthday. Miss Emily and Miss Marilyn made the transition of sending him to school SO EASY. They treat him as their own. They always update us on what is going out with our child and in the classroom.

My daughter has been going to growing kids now for 2 years. The staff at the elkhart location really takes that time to get to know the kids, she get so excited to see so many of them there. We have had one small issue but they took care of it so quickly to make sure my daughter was being taken care of in the best way. I love how it’s structured so the kids learn things yet get to have fun. You definitely pay for what you get when it comes to child care so if you’re worried about the cost, I believe it’s worth it for your child�
