Fast, friendly pick up and packing from start to finish....no hidden fees, no brokers, honest and dependable.*****delivery was a different story. The 2 drivers showed up with presumably no tools to put back together items broken down earlier. Good news is the GreenVanline office staff was very responsive but I still don't have a couch to use and the siderails to my bed never made it to the new location......hhhmmmm how do you lose siderails? My grandmother 's cedar hope chest leg was ripped off as I found it on my kitchen floor lying amongst packing material.....and other minor damage occurred. Read more >

We just finished the first half of our move and we worked with Steve, mark, and Enoch to load of our belonging into the moving truck. They were nice, clean, fast, and good. They told us everything about the move and were clear and concise about loading and prices. One thing I loved is that there were no hidden fees. They tell you up front what other charges would come ahead from unloading. Hopefully, delivery would be just as good as loading cause their service was great. Read more >

The guys were professional, polite and fast. The only negative was that they ended up packing several items we did not want them to take, items that were not on the original inventory. When they arrived, we were not done separating out things we needed to keep, and told them so. We went from room to room telling them what to take, but they ended up packing several items that we badly needed to finish up. I guess i needed to watch what they were taking more closely. Two of the movers were efficient and quick. One was lazy, but to his credit, it was an apartment on the third floor and he was a big man. He was breathing very hard when he did bring things upstairs. I also found the same man talking on the phone after I hadn't seen him for quite a while. He hinted to me about tips, which made me feel obligated to tip, which I did. They broke one thing by accident, but didn't charge me for the 30 min of extra time in exchange for a 5 star review, which he insisted I do in front of him. I am changing now to reflect the truth. Let me start with the positive side, my sales rep in Miami, Eli, was very nice in our first meeting and promise me the world! Delivery complete one week prior to original date.

Now lets talk about the real deal. I'm used to move around a lot, national and internationally so I know what to expect. When sales rep show up at my house I told him MULTIPLE times what i was looking for: FULL service packing, UNPACKING, remove all boxes, insurence. I mention about my pregnancy and how i couldn't do any lifting. And i would pay extra to have full service. I didn't want any surprises! He mention few times no hidden cost.

Between first meeting until packing day I realized insurance was not included (hidden cost) but he sent me the quote for insurance and I agreed. He asked me to call couple insurance company but I mention I would not have time. Pass forward to moving... Read more >

A hideous experience. Some things to be aware of:

First of all, Green Van Lines (GVL) sent someone to come and do an on-site quote for us. The gentleman was nice and did a good sell-job. He told me they aren’t a broker like other moving companies and would handle everything themselves, which turned out to not be true, but I’ll get to that later. I asked, “So there is no way I can exceed that quote, right?” And he assured me that I couldn’t unless I had way more stuff than he saw.
Well, come move day, I did go above the quote price (by a lot) even though I didn’t have more than he saw when he did the quote except for 8 boxes of books and a bicycle. And wasn’t informed till after my stuff was already on the truck.

Do not ever use this moving company they are a nightmare they moved me from Massachusetts to Georgia the lady said the truck that picks up your furniture will be the one that delivers it this is why I decided to go with them all your artwork will be put in crates my beautiful glass front bookcase that will be put in a crate the movers came they picked up my furniture they did not put the they refused to put my bookcase in a crate they did not put my artwork in a crate I had valuable artwork that was destroyed upon arrival these people lied to me my furniture was put on an 18-wheeler and other peoples furniture to put on there with mine then it was transferred to a smaller truck which the truck driver said they did not even work for green Van Lines when it arrived at my storage units he refused to put the furniture in the second unit and also my recliner was scratched up the cord was...
