I have had chronic, period lower back pain. I have gone to Eric during these episodes and he has been very precise and effective both on the immediate tactical pain and the solution to the episode (which can be weeks long). Good listener, good therapist. Caring but no "mumbo jumbo" -- that is not my style. A real professional who is highly effective.

I was so pleased to find GoodMedizen. I have seen Emily many times and she has been very knowledgeable and helped me with my pain. The office is warm and welcoming and even though it is downtown, it is very easy to get to. I believe the entire staff are exceptional medical professionals and sincerely work towards resolving your health issues.

I got acupuncture from Eric Martin to help with my insomnia issues. The space at Goodmedizen is very soothing/peaceful, where I would often catch up on my sleep at the session. Eric is incredibly knowledgeable in the healing arts arena. He has a way about him that in genuinely caring, coupled with the wisdom of his training and life experiences. I would recommend him to anyone interested in feeling better physically and emotionally.

After several months of severe degenerative disc pain in my neck, back and arms, I made an appointment with Eric on the recommendation of a co-worker. At 50 something back/neck pain wasn’t new and I could usually get it under control with chiropractic/massage and PT. This time I was looking seriously at surgery. I’ve never tried acupuncture before and didn’t have an opinion on it one way or the other, but my co-worker was very convincing.
I work in downtown Seattle and the GoodMedizen office location is very convenient. Easy walking distance or a short bus ride from anywhere downtown. First impressions; the office is a nice relaxing environment, the waiting room is comfortable with water and a nice jar of ginseng candies, all very welcoming.
Eric spent time talking to me and developed a good picture of my overall health as well as the current issue that brought me...

Absolutely wonderful! I am terrified of needles, though I've had one series of acupuncture treatments a few years ago. With Eric Martin, I really had nothing to worry about, and I'm not sure I've ever been more relaxed during a treatment.

I can't recommend this clinic enough. They even have dealing with insurance down better than any other provider I've visited. I'd give it six stars if I could and can't wait till my next treatment! If you use insurance +5 more stars for this clinic, if you are afraid of needles +10.

I've seen many acupuncturists over the years. Eric is the one I've stuck with the longest, working on both chronic and acute problems on and off for several years now. He has the best balance of acupuncture knowledge and a caring, friendly demeanor that I have found. I highly recommend him!
