Tomorrow will be such a bitter sweet day. My little girl’s last day of Preschool. Feels like just yesterday I was leaving my precious girl in the hands of strangers; four and a half years later she’s off to Kindergarten. These “strangers” have become our mentors, our saving grace, our lifeline. They have become a part of our family. I can’t thank the The Goddard School team enough.

On the first day our son (3 years old) started at The Goddard School, he was welcomed with open arms. It was his first experience with a school and he absolutely loved going every day. His teachers got to know him and treated him like their own. The program truly helped our son excel and we have seen tremendous growth in him, even after just a couple of months. Cleanliness was a huge deciding factor for us in making a decision on where to send our son, and the facility is immaculately clean but still welcoming for children, something we didn't see in other local preschools/daycares. The staff knew our family and were always accessible if we needed to talk. We highly recommend The Goddard School of Long Hill.

We love the Goddard School of Long Hill. My 2.5 yo has been here for 3 months. He adjusted very well since the beginning (other than the usual crying at first) and loves coming to school to see his teachers and friends everyday. The teachers are very caring and communicative. There is an app with pictures and daily reports that gives consistent information about our child every day (e.g. how long his nap was, when he got changed, when he tried to use the potty, what he learned etc.) The curriculum is well thought out yet balanced. There is story time, free play, play outside, and songs - all the thing that creates a fun and positive environment for toddlers to learn.

The school (both teachers, admin and owners) are very transparent about answering any questions I have. The admin is responsive, professional and available at all times (always pick up phones and answer...

My son attended The Goddard School in Long Hill for about 6 months in 2021 and I only have wonderful things to say about it. The owners Sumara and Imran are always around to answer questions and the rest of the management staff are warm and caring. The teachers that my son had (Ms Maggie and Ms Spencer) are absolutely wonderful and he loved them so much. I would highly recommend Goddard in Long Hill for anyone looking for an excellent daycare/Pre-K/Kindergarten setting.

Sending our two children to the Goddard School in Long Hill was one of the best decisions my husband and I have made since moving to the area. It is such a great feeling when your kids love going into school everyday and you can tell that they feel safe and loved there. The curriculum is perfect for kids and keeps them engaged and interested. My daughter started Kindergarten this year and thanks to Goddard she was more than prepared for the transition. The school goes above and beyond hosting events for Halloween, mother's day, etc and truly makes us feel like we are part of a family. I cannot recommend the school enough to anyone in the area.

From experience working at summer camps and schools around the state, The Goddard School of Long Hill is a pristine school. The owners and director are very involved and have made it a priority to provide high quality care for their students and faculty. They always go above and beyond and cater to each family’s needs and reward their teacher for their outstanding work.There is no doubt in my mind that when I have kids they will be attending The Goddard School.

So I wanted to write this review for the past few weeks but I haven’t had a free moment. My son went to this school for a few months. Sadly our time here has come to an end. My son was having a big adjustment to my husband coming back from Iraq and causing disruptions during nap time. I decided to pull him out to try and get him some therapy to try to help him deal with these very big emotions that a 3 year old can’t verbalize. I must say Goddard School was wonderful and so understanding, they tried so hard to help and gave me some great contacts when I was asking about therapy. The owners of this establishment really care about their students and one of them if not both of them are always on site. You can tell their passion for their school is true and real. Their teachers there are fantastic. My son learned so much there and I’m hoping that come September my son can start back again...

My son has attended the Goddard School for 2 years now. He loves going to school each day. It gives him an outlet to learn and socialize during the pandemic. Each day I wait anxiously to receive the teacher’s memo highlighting the activities of the day and pictures. What would make the report even better is if it was a little more personalized to each child’s progression. Also, It would be nice to have advanced notice of calendarized events for the month prior to the month beginning. I love that the class is completely child-centered. The children, upon receiving a warm greeting at the door, independently navigate through learning centers thoughtfully created to help strengthen fine motor skills, encourage logical thinking, creativity, problem solving, and working together. It is evident that the developmental needs and abilities of young children are considered at every turn....

Our daughter who started Kindergarten this year has been really enjoying all the different creative learning. We love the variety of ways in which she learns about art, feelings, math, yoga, Spanish, sign language, writing, music, crafts and so much more! We are very happy that we enrolled her at Goddard!

I highly recommend the Goddard School. My 4 year old was in another daycare for a day and a half because she said it was boring and long. We changed schools immediately and became a Goddard believer!!! The Goddard has a wonder staff and a solid curriculum!! I am impressed every day!

My husband and I have toured many daycares in the area prior to choosing Goddard and this school is by far the best in area. None of the ones we saw come close to providing the level of care and schooling Goddard does. The owners are always there putting their heart into everything they do and they really care about every single child at their school. The teachers and director are amazing. They take the time to put together lesson plans and ensure they are appropriate for each age group. They also work with the children at their own pace, making sure they succeed.

At first my husband and I were apprehensive to send our child back to school during the pandemic, but Goddard really made us feel so comfortable to put her back in school. We decided to enroll our son with Goddard school last year after doing a lot of research and was the best decision we made. Our son has been attending Goddard since their opening last year. The owners Sumará and Imran were not only great, attentive and accommodating but have HIGH standards. You can see this from the curriculum they offer, the school hygiene but most importantly with their teachers and staff. Goddard of Long Hill is a wonderful place! Since the time that our son started there, we have always been reassured that he is getting an excellent education and at the same time we are comforted that he is safe and secure. The school itself is new, beautiful and bright!!! Not only are the teachers wonderful at what they do...they are also happy and it shows. The owners Sumara and Imran are truly invested and they care, down to every detail. The director Donna is amazingly kind and so approachable. Recently, the school came through for our family in our time of need during the pandemic, and we were continually impressed by their cleanliness, sanitation, and thoughtfulness. I highly recommend this school!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this school. From the second you walk in you can see and feel that this is not your ordinary preschool. The staff is amazing! From the owners to the teachers- everyone is extremely kind, caring, and nurturing to both the children and adults alike. The teachers are all so incredibly talented and passionate about shaping the young minds around them. The children are encouraged daily to try new things and always ask questions. I feel so lucky that my daughter got to be part of this Goddard family! She has learned and grown so much and is beyond ready for kindergarten next year. The Goddard School in LongHill NJ is a safe, clean and educational facility for children. They also have been exceptional during these unprecedented times. They responded immediately to the Quarantine situation by offering virtual classes with a daily itinerary of activities. The instructors do a fantastic job engaging the children. This setup/structure has helped our son flourish/progress. We also enjoy watching him participate in the class sessions.

The owners of this facility are hands on and have the best intentions for the development of all the children that participate in their programs. They are knowledgeable, resourceful and attentive to our needs. We truly feel like they are an extension of our family.

The Goddard School is excellent! While we have been home due to Covid-19, their online learning experience has kept our toddler engaged with virtual story times and the many at-home activities that they work hard to create and relate to the curriculum. Every week there is a new theme with accompanying stories and activities. The staff and owners are very friendly and accommodating, and I would highly recommend joining Goddard at Long Hill to any family!

The owners Sumara and Imran are always there so willing to help with absolutely anything and provide such a family atmosphere. They are so kind and pleasant to talk to everyday with their smiles and greetings. It shows in everything they do and everything they say. I'm so happy that we chose The Goddard School of Long Hill to send our daughter to daycare. She loves her teachers in the Infant Room, and it is clear that they care about her and take care of her well during the day! My daughter always has a smile on her face when I pick her up in the evening. I love that the teachers send pictures everyday so I can see what activities they are doing during the day...and they always do learning, developmental and fun activities! I feel that my daughter is not only getting taken care of at the school, but she is always receiving great socialization and developmental skills, which is very comforting as a mom :)

We enrolled our son in The Goddard School in July and we could not be happier with our decision. From the first time I met the Ahmad family they have been nothing but wonderful! They make it a point to know each and every family, remain present on a day to day basis, and keep an open line of communication with us. Donna, the director, is just as involved with the children as their lead teachers. She greets us every morning at drop off! Our son loves her! It is such a warm feeling to see my son dive into her arms for his morning hug. Donna is wonderful at communicating with the families and is truly passionate about her involvement with the children. I love this school. I have an 18 month old daughter. She has been thriving since the first day at Goddard School. I’m amazed with the things she does. The owners are always there. Their enthusiasm and compassion show and is shared by all the teachers. I am so comfortable leaving my daughter there knowing she is in great hands. The pictures they send me throughout the day help me feel connected and the report at the end of the day is great and super informative.

We met with various preschools in the area and none felt exactly right until we met with Sumara, one of the owners of the Goddard School of Long Hill. My husband and I interviewed three other daycares and two other local goddard schools. None of which seemed to truly meet all of our requests and standards. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this school! I was so hesitant about sending my daughter to daycare and checked out a lot of places in the area. The feeling I got from Sumara Ahmad and her husband was so comforting. They know that our children are the most important to us and could not make us feel better in making the choice to go with Goddard.
