The Goddard School at Kennesaw

I Love Goddard, school of Kennesaw. I have moved around a lot for my job therefore my children have experienced multiple childcare facilities and this has been my favorite experience. This is what I love the most:

1. Awesome staff. I love the entire staff but especially the teachers in Unicorns and Sprites. My son adores his teachers. They are caring, engaging, organized, and actual teachers! They really get to know your child and their individual personalities and needs, socially and academically.

2. Curriculum. They are actually teaching the children. This is truly a school. My son is well above his peers in math, reading, and social studies. I enjoy doing projects with him and HW each evening.

We’ve been part of the Goddard family for six months now, and we couldn’t be happier. Our son started at just 5 months old, and it’s clear that the entire staff genuinely cares about each child’s growth and development. We especially adore the teachers in the Bambies classroom—they truly feel like a second family for our little one. They celebrate his milestones and nurture his progress in such thoughtful ways. Finding the right fit for childcare can be so challenging, but we feel confident that we’ve found the perfect place for our family here.

Choosing a daycare was one of the emotional decisions as a first time mom. But from day one, The Goddard School of Kennesaw proved that it’s a place filled with heart, patience, and so much more.

The transition was definately challenging for my little one. But the teachers, and especially the management team at Goddard Kennesaw truly went above and beyond. They noticed his cues, offered gentle encouragement, and created a warm, nurturing environment that helped him settle in at his *own* pace.

Their level of personalized care truly touched me. They didn’t just take care of him—they got to know him. Now, he truly walks in with confidence and excitement, and seeing that transformation has brought me so much peace and joy.

We love the Goddard School! My daughter has been attending Goddard for some years now and I wouldn’t send her anywhere else! All of the teachers and staff are amazing, Mrs. Patti and Ms. Gina are always so welcoming and helpful each morning that I drop my daughter off to school and each afternoon with picking her up, and we just absolutely adore Mrs. Mai! 🥰🩷 Goddard always put together different festivities to keep all families engaged and included in our children’s’ learning development while attending Goddard. I absolutely love receiving all of my daughter’s work that she does each week in class and I love receiving pictures/updates on what she’s doing at school each day. I have nothing but great things to say about Goddard School Kennesaw, best decision ever for my daughter!

We switched over about three weeks ago from a daycare causing all sorts of issues and we absolutely love it here. The staff are kind, thoughtful, and caring. The curriculum has had a clear impact on our son as he’s talking more, and more clearly. I can’t recommend Goddard enough.

Our son attended Goddard's pre-K and kindergarten programs and the experience was exceptional. The teachers, staff, and educational structure are top-notch. When he transitioned to public school, his test scores were well above grade level - a direct result of the quality education he received at Goddard.

We had a wonderful experience at The Goddard School of Kennesaw! The staff was consistently warm, caring, and professional—they truly made us feel like part of a family. The curriculum was outstanding and thoughtfully designed to engage the kids in a fun, structured way. We especially loved that Spanish was part of the program—it added a great layer of enrichment.

There were also so many fun events and parties throughout the year, which helped build a strong sense of community. The outdoor space is huge and well-maintained, giving the kids plenty of room to run and play safely. The school embraces diversity and always made safety a top priority.

Goddard school is such a rich learning environment where my son gets a full day of activities and has been making so many friends!

I was that mom…the one who called six times a day, asked 47 questions, and cried in the parking lot. But from day one, the staff at The Goddard School treated me (and my 6-month-old) like family. They never made me feel silly for calling, and always answered with patience and kindness.

Fast forward six months, this morning, my daughter lunged out of my arms to hug Mrs. Daisy and gave Mrs. Valerie a full-on celebrity-style “hello!” She looves it there.

And a huge shoutout to Mrs. Mai and Mrs. Patti, who go above and beyond! Checking in on my daughter personally every single day, just to make sure she’s happy and thriving. That kind of care? You can’t fake it.

The teachers here aren’t just caregivers, they’re family. If you’re a nervous parent, trust me: this is the place.

Low ratio, teachers are loving and nurturing. We love our Goddard school. Very customized curriculum to make child thrive.

Very proud of our decision to choose Goddard over other schools. We wanted a school that would build upon the advanced foundation of learning we had already established for our son and Goddard has delivered. Our son is a standout student and their curriculum for his development has been exceptional!

This place is incredible. This is our first experience with daycare, as our infant daughter is our only child. She has only been attending for a few weeks, but we can tell she enjoys every moment! The professionals here provide so much more than just daycare; they truly love and are great at what they do. Our child is safe, loved, and cared for every day. When I tell you that as a new mom I don’t worry about her while I’m at work—that’s a big deal. If you’re searching for people who practice a high standard of care, you’ve found them.

Update, March 2025: Everyone here has become such an important part of my daughter's village of care and support. She was born a preemie, 12 weeks early, and started here when she was 6 months old. Now, she is a thriving 2 year old, running around and talking up a storm! She has been passing every milestone with flying colors, her doctors...

Amazing, dedicated, and loving staff that have cared for both of my children since they were small. The education is top tier with lots of art and science incorporated to make learning fun for the kids! I highly recommend The Goddard School (kennesaw).

Our son has attended this school for almost a year, and we have noticed a significant difference in his overall development. He's learning a lot from the curriculum they provide and the teachers have been kind as well as patient, including the owner. I couldn't imagine putting our son in another preschool. The early morning drop off before 8:00am toddlers are required to sit. In my case my little one would be sitting up to a hour. He’s 22 months. I now understand why he cries when he gets in her class. He loves everyone else in the school except that situation. I think he would like that teacher too if they were allowed to move around and interact with each other.

After running away from 3 other daycares in the space of 6 months, I got to believe my then 1yo daughter wasn’t meant to be in a daycare.I was referred to Goddard. She loved it from the very first day. She actually waved me ‘bye’. Brought tears to my eyes. The staff, I mean all of them, are like family to these babies. Their love and devotion to the course is special. The director is hands-on. The energy once you get in says it all. I love this place.

Both my kids have attended this school and we would recommend it to everyone in a heartbeat. The teachers are caring and loving. The curriculum is strong. Kids would happily go to school. The director cares about keeping the student-teacher ratios intact as per the rules.

All the teachers are very communicating kids friendly and help kids to grow.
They do 1 on 1 with the kids to work on their weakness and strength.
My son definitely learn a lot and i definitely recommend this school to all parents who are looking for a school which help their kids to nurture and grow than this is the one.

I went to Goddard School when I was in 1st grade and I remember having so much fun! Especially when we had aqua Fridays! Now my cousin goes to the same school! I love seeing how the teachers interact with him. He’s always talking about what he does at school and how he wants to go back to see his friends! Goddard is a very welcoming place!

We loved curriculum, teacher. School is very clean. Staff is very caring and loving. My daughter enjoyed water day, show and tell for public speaking and math and writing. My daughter is better reader thanks to Goddard.

I see the milestones that my 17 months old has made since starting at the Goddard School at 3 months. I love how much she's learning and seeing positive interactions with other toddlers her age.

I couldn’t have chosen a better school for my daughter. All of the teachers and staff are amazing! My favorite is the parent portal where they send me pictures/updates of my daughter throughout the day because as a first time mom, I was anxious sending my baby to school by herself for the best first time. Goddard School takes very good care of my toddler. She eats good, I love seeing her play and interact with all of the little friends in her class, the learning curriculum is awesome, student/teacher ratio is amazing and I love all of the school festivities that they make sure to include us in as the parents. I can’t say enough great things about Goddard school! Thank you for exceeding my expectations!

One of my kids graduated from this Goddard last year, and my youngest is in pre-k. The school is clean, inviting, and most of the teachers are very nurturing. I feel very comfortable leaving, even when my daughter is a little sad to say goodbye. I’ve looked into other places like Primrose, but ultimately decided we’re happy here. The school sends monthly newsletters, has parent/teacher conferences, class parties, and other events. I think the curriculum is also great. My daughter traces letters and is even learning Spanish (we LOVE Mrs Eliana). We get pictures throughout the day, and it always looks like the kids are engaged and having fun. I’d give 5 stars except for the turnover. It’s stabilized since a change of ownership over a year ago, but we did just lose my daughter’s primary teacher to another job. I think most/all daycares go through this simply because of how low the pay is...
