Goddard School Long Meadow Farms

My daughter attended this school when she was younger! Great facility and staff. I absolutely loved her first steps teacher Ms. Candis, she was truly a gift from above when it came to loving and caring for my daughter.

We love this school! Ms. Petress is a great teacher!

I love Goddard. My nephew is enrolled and I can see lots of improvement. He was a little shy in the beginning however, Ms. Candis made him feel right at home and welcomed. It has really helped him in many ways. I am grateful for the wonderful staff.

I love this school and all of the wonderful things they do. The festivals they have are Amazing! The staff is great! Ms. La’Nekka is wonderful with the children. She is so loving and caring with them. She is a natural with the children and such a happy person!

After being at this school for a little over 3 years, I love it and the teachers! Especially Ms. Petress, I have worked with her mant times and have seen children learn so much with her.

Wonderful school! Ms. Jessica in First Steps is amazing! She is a wonderful teacher and her love for children and her job shines through every day!

My friends nephew goes here and I've heard nothing but amazing things about goddard. He is in first steps and my friend says how great ms.candis and ms.jessica are with the children. I see that he learns new things every single day. I would recommend that school to anybody.

Ms. Candis and Ms. Jessica in the First Steps room are AMAZING with children, and Ms. Esperanza and Ms. LaNekka in the Infant room are also wonderful. You can truly see that all of the teachers and staff at Goddard truly love and care for the children there. Everyone goes above and beyond to help kids and parents, lines of communication are always open, and I feel incredibly confident leaving my child in their care!

This School get 5 stars because of its teachers! Ms. Petress and Ms. La'Nekka are wonderful with the kids. They light up every time they see them. They are sweet and patient and they care for each child in their care.

We absolutely love Goddard. Our 17 month old twins have been here since they were 4 months old. Ms. Esperanza, Ms. Nekka, and Ms. Myra were AMAZING with them and I truly believed it was their effort and love that helped our boys catch up a little bit in development. They even taught them to sleep in cribs better than I could! Now, they are in the First Steps classroom and they have blossomed into intelligent, inquisitive, fast-moving toddlers. Ms. Candis has worked wonders in helping them with both physical and emotional development, and I couldn't be more pleased with the activities they do every single day. The boys know lots of sign-language and often use it to communicate their needs with me. My daughter started here in august 2017 at 2.5 and is typically super shy and struggles to adjust. She didn't even hesitate when I dropped her off and couldn't wait to go back on day two! She looks forward to going to "school" in the get set class and absolutely adores Miss Zoey. She talks constantly about her friends, her crafts, activities, and songs they learn. She has learned so much in her short time being there (days of the week, counting, alphabet-different words that start with letters, can write some letters, and even more) yet in her mind all she does is "play" which is huge! She looks forward to Monday's when Mr. Tony comes to sing and play guitar and Thursday's when soccer shots comes to teach her soccer. My son started there recently in the infant room and loves each one of his teachers, he smiles and gets excited when I drop him off to them each...

This is an amazing school!!! My twins learned so much and the staff is fantastic! Saying this from a teacher point of view! Their last teach Mrs. Stephanie was awesome, my girls loved her and didn't want to leave. Highly recommend.

My husband and I were new to the area and I toured 5 different schools in the area all within the same price range. One thing that took getting used to (but was a good thing) was that they have 1 main teacher for each room and several floaters. So when we would show up it took a while to get used to seeing different faces with our kids. BUT I saw and learned later that this helps with the transitions between rooms. And everyone is familiar now. We have 3 kids currently attending.
Our twins began in the infant room and have just recently moved up to the First Steps room with Ms. Candis. The infant room treated our kids great. They always had a PLAN for the infants just as sensory activities, art, motor skills etc. The only cautionary thing I would say is that our twins have been really light sleepers since birth so napping was a issue. I can't say enough good things about The Goddard School LMF. The faculty and facilities are excellent. They have built a wonderful sense of community through in school programs and after school events. Mrs. AnnMarie greets us in the morning and is always ready to assist us with patience and kindness and that attitude continues throughout the day with all the other teachers and staff. We are very thankful that we are a part of The Goddard School LMF community.

This is my response to Jennifer Alba's review. I am the director at the school. My door is always open to all families who have concerns. You were more than welcome to come to me for any issues that you were having. I never received an email or phone call from you voicing any concerns. All your communication was through the owner or the assistant director. Once I was informed about any issues you had I addressed it with the teachers immediately. I did have a pleasant conversation with you about a mosquito bite your child had. You and I were surprised at how it made your child's face swell. We also discussed how the doctors thought that kind of reaction to a bite was no big deal and it surprised the both of us. This is my daughter's 3rd school year at The Goddard School. She has learned so much from her teachers. She will definitely be prepared for school when she starts kindergarten next year. Any minor issues I have had have been handled professionally and in a timely manner. I continually recommend The Goddard School LMF to friends and neighbors. Just when I think they couldn't possibly add anything new to make the school better, they come up with something! I love that they bring in dance, soccer and other activities that the parents can choose to put their kid in. Now they are even teaching the kids how to play chess. They are even great with staying up to date with technology. The pre-k classrooms have Smart boards and the lobby has an interactive projection game system for the kids to play when the weather is not nice. I also love getting the daily emails and pictures. Both of my children love Goddard! My son has been going there for almost 3 years and he is really thriving with the staff and curriculum. My daughter enjoys her time there as well. As an educator, I appreciate the various activities that create a fun atmosphere for learning. The structure provided in the daily routine is helpful in establishing consistency for my kids.

Awesome school my granddaughter goes there and loves it. The staff is always extremely friendly when I have picked her up and I have so enjoyed the art events and book fairs they have had for the kids. Children are always having a terrific time!!

My 4 year old has been attending since January of 2015. She loves the teachers and is excited about the things she is learning. As a teacher, I am impressed with the curriculum and the activities for these young learners! Also, I was going to keep her home for the summer, but she begged me to go to cooking camp. Highly recommend this school!

We love having our 1 year old and 3 year old at Goddard School. They have both learned so much and always have a fun day. My 3 year old says "mommy, I want to go back to school" everyday after I pick her up.

I love having my 3 year old at this location. We love it here.
