Goddard School Long Meadow Farms

As we give thanks to the family in our lives, I wanted to take a moment to thank the family we choose. The teachers and staff at Goddard Long Meadow Farms came into our lives out of necessity but stayed because of a choice.

What is family? Family is not just the one you were born into. It’s also the one you choose who impacts your life in a positive way. They’re the ones who help your child grow and become a better person. They’re the ones who love your kids and nurture and listen to their concerns.

My older child is now in Kindergarten and there were other daycares close to home we could transfer the younger one to that would make drop off/pick up much more convenient. But we CHOSE to stay. We chose to keep the teachers and staff as our family.

Deciding to send your kids to daycare...

My son has been attending The Goddard School since he was one, he enjoys it there and it is a warm and inclusive atmosphere. The staff are all very attentive and his development has been great.

My daughter spent all her preschool years here and loved it. She learned so much and was well prepared for grade school when she started Kindergarten. She loved all her teachers and made a lot of friends.

Ms. Sama and Ma. Rizo are very caring and gives each child special attention. My child enjoys going to school and you can tell that she is learning many things. She surprises me with new words, phrases, and knowledge. Thank you everyone!

Sending our two boys to the Goddard School in Richmond is the best decision we ever made.

Our oldest son is on the spectrum for autism and the warm, patience and acceptance he received allowed him to thrive and grow by leaps and bounds, both socially and academically. The Goddard is largely responsible for our son's ability to read by the time he started primary school and success we see across all his subjects of study.

Despite some early discipline issues, our youngest son is also making great strides and we are so excited for what the future holds for him; secure in the knowledge that the creative and well-rounded curriculum he has prepared him to be an inquisitve, independent thinker with a strong knowledge-base that will serve him well moving forward.

With a full heart my family endorses this early education institution and it's long time...

I highly recommend this school. We enrolled our first daughter in 2015, and she graduated with the 2020 kindergarten class. As first-time parents, we were very cautious and overprotective, concerned about how our child would be treated and cared for. The school did such an excellent job, and I'm so glad our daughter attended. It significantly helped with her schooling.

We also enrolled our son, who spent five years there and graduated last year. He, too, will miss the school dearly. Everyone at the school is so friendly and welcoming—they truly feel like family.

Both of our kids had so much fun. Makes me want to convince my wife to have more kids so we can bring them here :) .

This school has been so wonderful for my 5 and 3 year old girls. They both started in the infants class with Ms. Esperanza who is just so amazing. I am so grateful to all of their past teachers (Ms. Indu, Ms. Uzma, Ms. Rana, Ms. Petress, and Ms. Janae). I am also grateful to their current teachers (Ms. Sama, Mr. Matthew, Ms. Nighat) who have provided a nurturing environment for them. The owner, Mrs. Tamkeen, and directors, Mrs. Stephanie and Ms. LaNekka, are always so helpful and definitely go above and beyond for the children. I highly recommend this school--we have had the best experience!

Our daughter is set to graduate their Pre-K program, and our entire family including our daughter are so sad for her to leave Goddard and especially Ms. Rana.

Before enrolling our daughter a few years ago, she was primarily at home with us. It was hard for us to find a program we felt comfortable and trusted enough to enroll our then-only child in for socialization and learning (I scouted a lot of places). We’re so happy to have found Goddard. From the initial tour which they graciously answered my massive list of questions to taking the time to know our family, we feel truly blessed.

Ms. Rana has worked wonders helping our daughter with her speech skills. She’s learned so much there and tells us how much she loves her teacher and friends there. When we were expecting our second baby, Ms. Rana took the time to help us adjust our daughter to having a new...

The teachers and staff at Goddard are all wonderful and have been a blessing to our family. My kids love it here!

Teachers are so good. Ms. Zaida was so good with my son. Owner is so knowledgeable about what is better for children.

They are sweet people real good with my kids made them feel welcome and I love that my kids are happy to go to school. Their teachers are always sweet to them!

My daughter started going Goddard at Long Meadow Farm in August 2022. She absolutely love her teachers Ms. Uzma and Ms. Rana. Both are amazing teachers and they greet each child with a smile and always try their best to make the kid comfortable. My daughter loves the different stations( ELA and Math) they have in her class and always look forward for it. Ms. Stephanie at the front office is amazing as well and always ready to help or answer the questions. Absolutely recommend this school.

This school has rich curriculum for kids, they can learn and improve their skills in different areas; Language, cognitive, social-emotional and physical. They have creative lesson plan the teacher can add, based on every child's level of learning. The lesson plan is adjustable to meet every child's needs.

My son has been going to Preschool 2 with Uzma and Saadiya. I just love how welcoming and nurturing they are about their job. Administration communicates very well with parents about events and updates

I want to take this opportunity to thank the preschool 1 teachers- Ms Uzma and Ms Sayiad.
They are both thorough and compassionate with my LO, they have really good teaching structure that has helped tremendously. Ms Uzma genuinely cares and gives the best recommendations to help my son be at his best. Keep up the good work!💪🏽💪🏽🤎

Love this daycare! I enrolled my two LO’s over a month ago and I am soo pleased with my decision. The teachers are awesome, always happy to help and love Ms Stephanie, her energy is exceptional in the morning, she greet the kids with great enthusiasm. When I have a request for the kids it always gets done quickly and I get constant feedback from the teachers. I will definitely recommend this school, the best hands down

Ms Rachel and Ms Indu in Pre K 1 have been wonderful with our son. We love knowing our boys are taken care of by such great teachers. We love Mrs Esperanza in the infant room as well. We feel so much better knowing he is loved on all day by such a great team.

We have had both of our boys at this Goddard 3 mornings a week, for 3 years before Kindergarten. The teachers are fantastic and they have great learning activities that keep them engaged and interested. Goddard even arranges for multiple special instructors to visit once a week, included with the tuition. They have a singing instructor, stretch coach, and Spanish teacher on just the 3 mornings my kids go. Both of my boys had Ms. Nighat as a Pre-K teacher. She is amazing! She had a great calming effect on the boys that had them happily leaving my side at drop off (a first for my youngest). She quickly teaches them to be respectful and good listeners (great prep for Kindergarten). My oldest went to Kindergarten already knowing most of the Kindergarten requirements thanks to Ms. Nighat's skill and the Goddard program. We are very pleased with this school.

This is our first year at Goddard and we’ve had a good experience thus far. Ms. Quenita and Ms. Stephanie greet my son with a smile every morning which sets the tone for the day! Ms. Indu and Ms. Rachel teach, nurture, and guide my son for success! My son loves his teachers! My goal is for my son to be reading by this time next year and he is well on his way. As an educator myself, I love the fact that I can view their daily lesson plans and reinforce concepts at home. Overall, great school!

Ms. Sama and Cynthia in PK2 are amazing with our 3 year old. She used to cry so much when we would drop her off and now she asks for school!

We are starting our third year at Goddard. At this point we have experienced every room with our two children (now 4 and 2). Hands down the best part about the school is the teachers and the extensive opportunities for enrichment for the kids! Ms. Taylor is amazing with my little ones and has pretty much become family. My son talks about Ms. Colleen and Ms. Abby often and enjoys them. My daughter loves Ms. Nighat and Ms. Sahad she always has great stories about her day they. The positive interactions I witness make me know that they truly enjoy being with my kids and love what they do! My kids feel safe, loved, and seen at school and they are learning and growing leaps and bounds because of their teachers.

I registered my two boys at The Goddard School back in November 2018. My son is 5 and my other son is 1. I wasn't fully satisfied with my current daycare and when they did not have room for my youngest son I thought this was an opportunity to maybe find a better school. I am so glad that I did! This school is amazing! It's more like a family than a facility or daycare! As stated before,the two teachers that I have the most contact with was Ms. Nighat and Ms. La'nekka. Ms. Nighat is my five-year-olds teacher and her curriculum for her students is above average. My child is most definitely being prepped for kindergarten and will be more than ready when that time comes. She provides structure, she makes learning fun and treats the children as if they belong to her. I can't speak of her more highly! She is awesome! My son is registered in the infant room and has been since December 2018. Every day we are greeted with smiles and the space feels welcoming and happy. I speak with my son's teachers every day and Ms. Esperanza, Ms. Petress, Ms. Faviola, and the other lead teachers always provide great updates. Since this is my first son and our first experience with daycare, I was worried the handoff between parents and teachers would be minimal and uncaring. The teachers at The Goddard School Long Meadow Farms put so much care into their children, remembering each infant's favorite toy or their routines (prefers to nap in the morning, or likes to play after eating). I get to hear about my son's day EVERY day and any updates or changes that we need to make to his feeding/sleeping schedule. Again, I'm just so happy at how engaged and caring the staff at Goddard have been. I hope to see this carry out...

The Goddard school is great ! I love the teachers there especially Ms. Petress and Ms. La’ Nekka!! Awesome teachers!!!

I love the way the school is set up. While visiting I noticed two teachers Ms. Pettress and Ms. LaNekka. They are two amazing teachers. I love the interaction they give with the children.

The school activities are awesome my daughter loves it Ms.Daniela and Ms.Fabiola are great with the little ones as well as the other staff, great school!
