Gifted and Talented Kids Academy

I’m very happy with the experience my two young children (3y.o and 8 months old) are having at this center. For a long time, my husband and I had been searching for a place for our two babies, and the welcoming, family-feel, friendly atmosphere did it for us! From the admin staff (Ms. Carpenter & Ms. Dotson) to the wonderful teachers, I don’t think I could have had it any better. Ms. Taye is amazing with my 8-month…she’s like a God-sent to this academy. She’s very attentive to the babies, and she really made the effort to put my heart and fears at ease. My baby starting daycare at a young age was very unsettling at first, but Ms. Taye gave me the assurances I needed to settle all my motherly worries for my baby. G&TKA is a family-oriented atmosphere, which is a quality that I absolutely love. (:

The entire staff at Gifted and Talented Kids Academy has been a blessing to my family. When I moved in this area I needed somewhere for my 11 month old to attend daycare while working. This was my daughter first time attending any daycare facility. I was introduced to Ronesha ( I love her )she was very cautions and took all protocols call when entering the daycare center due to Covid-19 and I was able to tour the babies room and she explain their curriculum & learning activities. I can say my baby adjust to being dropped off & picked up at the door, which parents are not allowed to enter the facility.I receive updates and pictures of how my daughter day has been through out the week (daily) as well as learning. Where do I start?‼️ Well no one told me they were this great. From day one I have had an exceptional experience with them regarding my baby girl. They always there when you need them, they listen, help with homework, pick up and drop off at school, teach school ready information, engage in what they kids like plus more. Anything you need explain there are ready and willing. They love every last child as their own. My 3 kids currently attend this daycare and they love it. My kids never cry when I drop them and more than often they don’t want leave. My son smiles and reaches to go with the teachers when we are welcomed at the door in the morning. My 2 year didn’t really speak or say a word before she started to attend but now she comes home very talkative and sings songs like wheel on the bus and happy birthday. I also love that we get daily updates and pictures on the app. They keep the parents very informed. Director is awesome. I would recommend this place to everyone with little ones. Read more >

My daughter started gifted and talented about 2 months ago and she loves it there vs her after school program. Often when I pick her up she tells me why did you get me so early. Also she says she loves the food. She felt comfortable there from day 1. I also love the communication the app used to send messages, dates they are closed, and knowing when she made it to the center gives you peace of mind. Read more >

The teachers really make an effort to engage the kids and develop them in a very individualised way. I absolutely love GTKA!!!! I have a 2 and 12 year old. Never considered putting either child else where. My 12 year old started out Attending when he was a infant up until he was a part time after school pick up. I love how the teachers care about the children and always put them first, The hours are very compatible to my needs. My fav part of dropping my little one off in the mornings is when we are always greeted at the door with a smile by one of the lovely ladies. My son just runs in excited and just so happy. That right there shows me that his teachers are loving and he’s being treated correctly. That assures me the most as a parent. The atmosphere is always clean. My children love Gifted and Talented Kids Academy they even wake up on the weekends wanting to go. I was a little nervous putting them somewhere new this year, but they have gone above and beyond for my babies. My son is in the prek program and he loves Ms.Rose and Ms.Dotson he talks about them all day long. I was really happy when my 2year old started singing the abc’s in the car one day and then she started coming home telling me shapes and colors. They are all nice teachers and very understandable. My son loves going there he’s happy every time i drop him off and to me that means something is right. I really like this facility for my son. My son is 1 & have been attending Gifted & Talented since October 2021. He seems to enjoy his time there as he is always happy when I pick him up & he’s rarely unhappy/upset when I drop him off. The director is very nice, and always respond within a timely manner whenever I send emails or messages. I love the fact that the parents are updated throughout the day via the app about diaper changes, meals, nap times, and activities that the kids are doing that day. They are also really good about keeping the parents informed and in the know about different things going on such as changes in the schedule, sickness outbreaks within the facility, extra items needed for the class, etc. I would definitely recommend this facility for childcare. As a parent, you’re always nervous when trusting others with your child, but GTKA has cared for my baby as their own. I love gifted and talent . As a picky mother I trust these women with my children . They are all very nice and professional. I love the fact that my 2 & 3 yr old are learning at a very past pace. They are learning to write , count, they know they alphabets, colors and so much more. It warms my heart when I receive pictures and videos of them having fun . My babies love this learning academy. I recommend Gifted and Talent Kids Academy, INC because it is more like having family to watch your child. When my granddaughter Caleigha initially started it was a hard transition because she was used to being home. But the teachers and staff were very patient with her. If she got a speck of dirt on her they would change her clothes sending her home looking just like brought her there. Also my granddaughter is so content there. They make feel like she has been there all her life. She can’t wait to get to school to see everyone at the daycare. She laughs and plays so much since she been there. I know for myself the staff at Gifted has went beyond just being a daycare. So if you want a daycare that teaches your child and also treats your child just like family this is place for your children. First and foremost I am the most paranoid parent when it comes to my kids. I have always been uneasy about daycare or just anything that pushes me to have my children out of my sight for a long period of time. Gifted and Talented Academy has gone above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and trusting of them in every way. My kids were not talking hardly at all and they were 3 years old when they started. Now they are 4 years old and are talking so well and communicating better than they have ever been. I would recommend this daycare not just for childcare but because our children in our community can sometimes get the short end of the stick when it comes to education and child development but that is definitely not the case at this Academy!
