Get Scene

Awesome class. Some tidbits I've known throughout the years but others (keep in mind I've been acting professionally for 14 years) were new to me. She's honest, supportive, but blunt when needed. A truly helpful workshop. A lot of them are "great, good scene, I don't need to see it again" which doesn't help much.

I love taking classes through Get Scene, because they are always super organized, have great communication and fun! I learn so much from each class and workshop i take! My most recent class with Carole Kaboya was wonderful! We learned so much, got great and very specific feedback and we had a blast with the fabulous multi-talented Carole and also having Roxie as our host! Thank you for making learning fun too!

Get scene is THE place to go too! Every professional special instructor that they bring on gives me genuine advice that help me in my journey in my acting career. From grounding techniques, to perfecting my submissions, to filming great self tapes. It also, through actors spark, provides a great community too!

I love this place, and cannot recommend it enough. I've taken both online and in-person classes. You can tell that Jessie really cares about his students. He's a working actor, understands the process, and he truly prepares you to BOOK WORK. If you want to be a working actor, and you're serious about your craft, this is the place for you. It's also located in a hotel, so if you live an hour away (like me), it's super convenient. The class sizes are also great. The training, the reps, everything is top notch.

Tony Demil is a gem! He is very knowledgeable in his experience and very real. He always encourages actors to go to the next level in their craft, and if a particular character or scene needs an adjustment, he will give honest feedback on why a scene may or may not work, and will find a solution to tailor and make it work for that particular actor. I highly recommend his coaching. He is amazing!

Highly recommend Tony Demil! He will always encourage actors to reach their best potential in a particular scene, and will push actors to go to the next level, to continue to grow. He doesn't sugarcoat and will always give honest feedback. He has amazing knowledge about the business and shares his experiences to give guidance to navigate on set. Take him!

I Loved Toula's Class. Her notes were very specific and helpful. She also has a very gentle, supportive manner. She was very constructive and clear. In the Q&A she cleared up several questions I didn't even know I had! I've been acting for 22 years, and I highly recommend her class!
Also, the class in general was great! I never get my headshot and demo reel assessed anywhere, so to have it reviewed by an industry professional (who's not my agent or manager) was EXTREMELY valuable. 5 Stars!!
