I saw Marissa Nemec at Marc's suggestion while dealing with vertigo for the past month. Marissa did an eval, identified which semicircular canal had the rogue otolith, and did some maneuvers and gave me some exercises to strengthen the neural synapses that keep me balanced while moving. I was able to turn in bed and get up and walk around with NO DIZZINESS after one session. SO grateful to be able to hang upside down again and walk, without feeling like I'm floating. Read more >

I've previously gone to other Physical Therapists (I move a lot) but to be frank, Marc and Marissa, are head shoulders above the rest that I have seen.

Previously I was rushed and felt like a number, the space I did my PT was packed and I had ZERO ISSUES like that at Free Body Physical Therapy.

At Free Body Physical Therapy - it is always a 1-on-1 customized session and they truly want to help you achieve your goals. They are not only supportive but act like real people/friends instead of a Doctor/Patient type of dynamic or relationship.

I found Free Body PT after injuring my left shoulder while exercising. After talking to a specialist he recommended PT. I'm extraordinarily glad I found Marc and Marissa. I primarily worked with Marc due to schedules but occasionally saw Marissa and found both to be extremely helpful and attentive.

The first session was longer than all the others and involved a lot of questions, trying different body movements to see what my current abilities were, and describing what caused pain. After that I saw Marc twice a week for a while then after a few months it went down to once every 2 weeks.

The first half of most sessions involve Marc evaluating my progress, talking about any difficulties I had since last seeming them, and then massaging/loosening tight areas. The second half of the session will generally focus on showing Marc how the exercises he assigned... Read more >

My experience working with Marissa at Free Body was fantastic! I had knee surgery last summer and was barely able to bend my knee or put weight on it and after working with Marissa I have absolute full range of motion and my legs are stronger than they were before surgery. PT was good, parking was good, one star for the billing/front desk. Insurance was not covering as much of the bill as I thought/they had said in the beginning. Instead of letting me know right away, I continued with my appointments, and 1.5 months later, they dropped a huge bill on me. Not sure if it was poor communication on their part, or just ignorance. I love Free Body Physical Therapy! I injured my ankle and felt like it wasn't healing quite right or getting back to 100% after a few months, so I decided to try physical therapy. Marissa listened and helped identify exactly what we needed to do to get me back to even better than I was pre-injury! The individual attention is so helpful and really motivated me to do my exercises in between sessions. Marissa focuses on achievable goals and marking improvements, which is great since improvements happen over weeks and can be difficult to notice, but they are amazing to see.
