Free Body Physical Therapy

Marc is hands-down the BEST physical therapist I've ever been to! To paint a picture, I fractured my humerus about 4 years ago and required a plate/many screws. I went to physical therapy elsewhere right away to regain mobility, but for years after, I suffered from a painfully stiff neck, decreased muscle mass, and an inwardly rotated shoulder. I felt muscle pain that a normal 23 year old should not be feeling on a daily basis, to the point where that became my new normal.

A friend at work eventually recommended Marc's services, and I thought why not give it a shot. I'd tried yoga, massages, etc and figured it would end the same - I'd feel relief for a day or two, then the stiffness and discomfort would return in a few days. Marc instantly proved me wrong.

Marc is the absolute best. He made time to see me very quickly after I experienced a debilitating lower back/hip shift early in my pregnancy.

Marc’s knowledge and caring professionalism are so appreciated, as is his emphasis on the physical therapy work being a partnership and two-way street. It might ultimately feel like magic, but I appreciate the emphasis and credit Marc gives to the client’s role within that spell work!

After a couple of visits, I was well enough to return to my regular barre workouts, armed with appropriate strengthening exercises for off-days – I’m even using some of them as modifications to class exercises I can’t do while pregnant.

I can’t say enough great things about my experience with Dr. Guillen. I am a full time yoga instructor and suffered a pretty bad ankle sprain about 3 months before a neighbor told me I needed to see Marc. The experience was honestly better than I ever could have imagined. During my first visit he was able to do an adjustment to my ankle that relieved probably close to 95% of the pain I thought may never go away. After 3 follow up visits I’m at 100% pain free. Not only does he target the injury, but also provides info on what other factors may have played a role on the injury occurring. He was able to detect I had a very weak hip on one side and hyper mobility, both that probably contributed to my sprained ankle and gave exercises to help with those as well to prevent injuries in the future. Dr Marc is an extaordinart PT. I had a fall and got a Grade 2 hamstring tear that turned my right leg completely black and blue down to the ankle.and a banged up left shoulder. My daughter who is a PT in Texas found Marc and recommended him to me. You want the best? GO HERE NOW! Why? I'll tell you. I run my own biz and am at the top of my game so I know when I see someone at the top of their game. Mark is on point. I've always been super active. This has led me to a few different physical therapists in different city’s over time. This place tops them all. I went in for neck pain from a car crash. Mark was able to help with that as well as some other injuries that happened while I was seeing him. This place will get you fixed up and teach you how to keep from coming back from the same injuries.

I have a eye for details , I'm very picky , can be hard to work with and I NEVER leave reviews for anything.

From a customer's standpoint, I couldn't ask for more. I went into the clinic looking for information and a solution to my problem. Marc found the target area and helped me overcome the regular discomfort I was experiencing for several years. He gave me tips on prevention and I can honestly say that I can't remember the last time I felt this good.
I am adding to this review because I have now seen Marc for about 2 years since my original post. Since then, I have been practically pain free from my original symptoms. I have increased my exercise routine which includes playing basketball twice a week. Marc's focus on strengthening the core has really paid dividends. I had horrible chronic neck pain, stiffness, and referring headaches for at least 2 years, with symptoms getting increasingly worse. Marc was extremely knowledgable, caring, friendly, fun, and genuine during my time of care! He truly wants to help each patient, and does everything in his power to make physical therapy the most valuable experience. I just finished 4 months of physical therapy with Marc after fracturing my T11/12 vertebrae and tailbone last fall. I tend bar for a living, so my job requires a lot of physicality- bending, heavy lifting, twisting, turning, standing for long hours, etc. Needless to say, I missed several months of work and needed to heal properly and get my strength and flexibility back.

Marc is an incredible physical therapist. I came in barely able to walk after a spinal injury and now I'm fully functional. I had my ACL and meniscus repaired in December. I was just looking for a place close to work and was lucky enough to meet Marc. His practice is small, but the benefit to that is a got a TON of 1 on 1 time. He knows my strengths and weaknesses and tailors my plan towards that. I didn't realize how unusual this was until my surgeon complimented me on how well I was recovering and asked me how PT was going. Marc immediately put me at ease (the scented oil humidifier helped too!) and made my appointments positive experiences, even when I was still in a lot of pain post op. I’ve had chronic pain in my shoulder on and off for well over a few years. This past year the pain became much more intense and would affect every aspect of my life from work, to excerise, and even sleep. I came to Marc and he listened to me to try to understand what could be causing these issues. He didn’t just try to provide me with a generic solution, but it was one tailored to my needs and goals. What can I say about Marc, except he’s exceptional in what he does, I’m in the 12v industry. I work on cars doing Alarm remote starts, being under a Dash of a car and gaining weight didn’t help. I developed sciatica so plenty of lower back pain, lower back really tight. Marc was very professional and educational.
