First Steps Early Learning Center

We love first steps early learning center... My daughter loves it as well. Warm welcoming environment that prepares your child for grade school. The center is clean, safe, and nurturing. The staff ensures that your child receives all the care and knowledge needed and communicates well with the parents about their child behavior, needs, and growth in each class. They also make learning fun and informative. I would recommend First Steps to anyone looking for childcare.

It is a very great place to keep your kids, they provide top notch services, and the environment is clean and the staff are friendly.

My experience with FSELC has been an amazing rollercoaster! My children are thriving wonderfully, Ms. Brown works with not just me but with all parents to ensure each child gets the best outcome from being in her and all the other amazing teachers care! My kids love being at “school” and they adore their teachers more. I am grateful that my children attends such an amazing child care facility that works with them and their needs to prepare them for when they shall start school. Will always recommend First Steps Early Learning Center for anyone searching for childcare.

My children have attended First Steps for over a year and I can tell you everyday there’s always positive growth for with my children in their respective age group class. Ms. Brown does a lot to ensure everything runs smoothly as well as to make sure all parents are always aware of anything new or just overall keeping great communication with her, the teachers, and even your children! I will always recommend First Steps Learning Center to anyone searching for child care. P.S. this childcare works with the Maryland Child Care Scholarship Program which has been a blessing for me!

The center is always clean. The staff is always welcoming and outgoing. Miss Kay & Miss Gabby are great teachers I can see what Amor learns everyday as she always comes home singing new songs, saying new words and she always wants to read books at home now and she has only been there for a month or so. Definitely not disappointed. So glad I transferred her.

My now 2 year old daughter started here in November of 2024 . From day one she loved it and so did her farther and I. Mrs. Brown (the owner) ensures that the center is welcoming, nurturing, safe, comfortable and full of activities for all of the scholars, the staff, and the parents . Mrs. Brown and her staff cares so much for each child. They treat all of them as if they were their children. We love that we can see what our daughter is learning, eating, how long she sleeps, and how often she uses the potty everyday in real time on the Brightwheel app. My daughter has learned so much since she been here. We plan on her being here until she start regular school. My baby loves her teachers and she especially loves Mrs. Brown. She makes sure she gives her a hugs everyday before she leaves for the day.
