If you like an off the beaten path and not a crowd in site this is the place. Get tired of waiting on people to get out of the way for a good photo shoot? Bet it will NOT happen here... although there is always a plan to draw more people get there before that happens.

Such a great place to visit, the ride from the dirt road is just like in the movie, you see the lights as you approach. A must see place if you like the movie.

It is exciting to visit if you liked the movie. They kept everything just the way it was. Worth the trip. Go in the summer when the corn is growing and the experience will be much better. I went in the winter and still felt it was worth the drive.

my husband and two teenagers and I visited here in about 1990. Then you could not go in the house and you could not go past the white fence which was not as long as it is now. The outbuildings for the same except the souvenir shop was much smaller. The parking lot and the road were both shell, and we were there towards the end of the summer with a lot of corn still in Fields. There wasn't even the large Field of dreams sign that you see here. Although it's a beautiful sign it was nice to drive up and not have any of that to spoil the imagery. We could not go into the house which I think is a great addition. There were no guided tours. even without all of the things you have now I believe it was an even better place to visit because as one other person said the spiritual feeling you get out in the corn. It's definitely a nostalgia thing, but we enjoyed and appreciated the experience. We had friends in from out of town that are big fans of the movie and wanted to see the site. We've been there before in the summer but never in the winter. As the weather made it impractical to enjoy the outside, we ord for the house tour and were pleasantly surprised with the experience. Due to it being an off season visit we had the personal tour experience (no other customers) and were very happy that they were able to find a guide for us. Craig, our guide, was very obviously dedicated to his role and a great presenter of the space and site, along with sharing a lot of firsthand information about the whole movie and experience. My only real advice is to call ahead for off season reservations because, although not mentioned on the website, they generally only accept tour requests with at least 48...

Wonderful little gem for tourists and travelers. Literally in the middle of nowhere off a dirt road. It was very green and very well kept. Lots on great information on baseball and the movie. I was a little disappointed because we visited on September twenty ninth and the girl at the desk had her feet up and was texting away. No hello, no welcome, nothing spoken. It was also disappointing how much it cost to enter the house which was almost forty dollars for two people.

One of the more spiritual experiences of my life. It evoked all of those emotions brought forth from the film. I brought my bat and a bunch of balls. A man threw me batting practice and watching my fly balls sail out toward the corn fields was jaw-droppingly magical. If you love this movie you should stop by and feel the magic.

This place is awesome. They'll let you walk on the field. When i was there kids were playing an impromptu game of whittle ball.
