Really enjoyed this visit! Been on my list for awhile, love the movie and the experience didn't disappoint. I was able to play ball on the field with my family and dissappear into the corn.

Definitely worth the side quest if you're in the area! The house is open for tours and people come and go as they please the field. There is a gift shop and a snack shack on site. You can walk into the corn in the outfits or play catch. You can even bring a bat and ball with you. There is a suggested donation of $20 as is quoted in the movie by Terrence Mann. It was fun to make the visit and see it in person. The history of how the site was selected was quite interesting. If you're in the area definitely worth your time. There is a donation request which we were glad to accommodate.

LOVED Field of Dreams Movie Site

Classic. Have wanted to visit for years. Suggested $20 donation. Gift shop. Free to walk around the field. $20 per person to tour house. The biggest difference to the movie is the barns are updated to metal and not barn wood. There is also a new major league ball park built just behind the field of dreams field and plans for lots of stuff to be built. Hotels. Softball fields.

Loved the movie and the movie site hasn't changed much. I ran the bases, pitched from the mound, and did the ghost walk from corn to the field. There is no advertisement anywhere for it which I thought was strange. Great stop if you are in the area.
