This was a dream come true for me. I love this book and movie. It was absolutely unbelievable to see it in person. I loved everything about it. Now that I live in Iowa I will be going back to explore it more. And next time I will absolutely have to take the tour of the house. Didn't take enough money on this trip. Lol. Oh well, live and learn, right.

This is a great place to take the family. They have a really nice shop and concession stand for food and drinks.

A dream come true for my husband and myself. Absolutely beautiful lots of photo opportunities and you can even throw a ball around and pretend you are in the movie. Also lots of cool gifts and memorabilia in the gift shop.

Such a wonderful place. This is a place to visit if you are a baseball fan.

Was exactly what I expected. Beautiful and movie like... but the $20 segested donation for entry seems a bit comical...

LOVED Field of Dreams Movie Site

My mom first took me to the Movie Site when I was 12 years old and then again when I was 17. I had been dying to go back ever since and finally convinced my husband to take a trip. We watched the movie the night before and then took the House Tour. It was amazing getting to BE in the house and see what the actors saw and experienced. It was amazing even after all these years to be there again! And since my mom passed away in 2014, we had to bring Louie Cardinal (her ashes are inside) so that “she” could go on the tour as well!

Felt as if I was in the movie. Watched movie with son so he would have the same connection.

Loved seeing the house that was in the movie and their red barns were great....corn was growing too...😉

Interesting little place to visit. We did pay for the house tour. Got some tidbits of info / trivia, but otherwise, it's just the house. Nice little concession stand and gift shop. Pleasant atmosphere.

It was really neat to be up close and see the fields and home where the movie was filmed.

Awesome can't wait for the ghost game!

Is there anything more than the 5 star rating? Because it deserves more. Just like the movie, there's something magical about the place. Spiritual in a way. There are absolutely no signs to help you find the place, but you'll find it. Really, the best way to find it is, go directly to Dyersville. Stop! Now turn on your GPS for Field Of Dreams address. Follow it. Pay the $20.00 donation. You will not regret it. If you have it, bring your ball and glove for a very short game of catch. If not, watch others. Pay to go on tour of the house. First floor only. You won't regret it. Craig will talk to you and tell you a lot of facts and history. If you can, watch the movie before you go. Then when you get home, again. You had a great time here, and you'll never forget.

Surreal and peaceful spot. Corn wasn't very tall when I visited, but can imagine it's even better when it is. A bit disappointed that the store in the barn only had a few items of baseball attire and nothing to really buy as a souvenir. Guessing copyright laws prevent a lot?

Gift shop is decently priced, maybe a little high. Overall, this was a great stop to see the location of the movie, but also just to let the kids stretch their legs and run around during a road trip.

Hadn't been here in 20+ years. Was great to get back and see everything. I wasn't too excited about the metal on the old barn as it takes away the classic Iowa farm look that it had back in 1989 when they filmed the movie. I also realize that many farmers are putting metal siding over old wood barns to maintain the integrity of the structure, so I guess at the end of the day it still has this quaint look to it.

One thing I would also like to add is the store called baseballism. Seems like kind of a weird relationship to the field of dreams and I'm not sure if the field of dreams actually owns it or if they are a separate venue and they just operate at sites like Field of Dreams to sell merchandise. There was tons of field of dreams merchandise in the store, but there was also a lot of merchandise that had nothing to do with the field of dreams and was just baseball...
