If you want to see cornfields and imagine the baseball greats emerging from within the rows, you’re going to be disappointed. Today, the home stands alone, removed from farming. If, however, you want to check out the field, the original house from the movie, and walk the same grounds as Kevin Costner, this is totally worth the stop. If you want to grab a bite or coffee, the small nearby town of Dyersville has a few good options, but I wouldn’t recommend staying a day/night here, just for this attraction. You can easily be in and out in an hour.
