Place is worth it lots of fun

Well worth the drive

They even plant the cornrows the right way, and people were taking each other's pictures walking into them! Optional $20 tour was really well done. It's definitely not tacky or "touristy". See it now, they plan to develop a baseball complex on other parts of the property in the next few years. The movie site will still be there and free to visit, and they'll try to limit the complex's impact on the movie site but I am glad I saw it when it was still so quiet and remote. So worth the trip!

Took the grandsons to see the site and these guys just happened to be there for a tour bus. So they pitched to the people from the bus while they let us play outfield. Our reward for doing that, they pitched to us!!
This is a memory that'll last a lifetime for all of us. (They even signed the boys's gloves!)

What's there not to like? I would travel through dyersville though. The road to the North is gravel and muddy. The dyerville road is paved all the way. Bring your ball and glove so you can have a catch. We didn't even think about it. We were just passing through and went out of our way an hour to see it. It as well worth the effort.

Fun and entertaining place

Site is kept in beautiful shape, like the movie, souvenir shop sells t-shirts and other fun stuff, dont forget to pitch a ball and run the bases

If you build it, we will come :) What a great day to play a little ball on the most famous baseball field in Iowa! Looking around and playing on the field is free, tours inside the house cost $20/person. Lots of great souvenirs at the stand too :)

It was dream come true to visit this Baseball Field! I enjoyed it as well as taking a tour of the original farm house from the movie too!!
