My brother and I had rented a property out for years and knew it needed expensive updating prior to putting in on the market. We weren't interested in the expense, time or headaches involved with remodeling. I happened to be in town one week, so we decided to see what Express Homebuyers would offer for it 'as is.' After a phone call, they met me at the property the next day, had a look around, and asked what we'd like to get to for it. I helped facilitate my in-laws move from a 3-story home in Maryland to a 2-bedroom apartment in a retirement community in Tennessee. I just want to share the beautiful experience that I had with Express home buyers the owner Mr. Brad came out to my house and assist the young man they both spoke to me about the next steps that we were going to take into selling my home. I met Ms. Kelli and she was great she did a beautiful job keeping me informed of things coming up communicating about what’s going on. Then I met Mr. Ivan with BluePrint Titles communicate also letting me know what’s the next steps going into Closing making appointment with the notary to sign paperwork. I moved out of my house on January 30th, on February 12th, I was signing closing papers. I was very surprised how quick my house was sold. There offer was reasonable and addressed my needs and concerns while still address their requirements to operate as a business which in the final analysis was rewarding for all. Looking back, I must say that I wish we had handled the sale of my father's house on our own or through a real estate agent. Having said that, using Express Homebuyers was possibly less of a hassle (I don't truly know as I've never sold a house before). Upon meeting with their rep., I did feel pressured to make a decision and I usually don't do business with a company that demands a decision right then and there and I never have in the past and I wouldn't do it again, as this to me is a huge negative sign. After the first meeting and signing the contract, there was no communication until we reached out inquiring as to the status. It was at that time when it almost seemed as though the flood gates opened and then we were receiving phone calls AND emails requesting all kinds of information (most of which were duplicate requests). I never thought I would manage to get my 92 year old mom to move up to Westminster, md but somehow I did and. I saw a commercial for these guys and Christian came out the day I was emptying her house, he was so incredibly nice and patient. So if it couldn’t get any better brad came out to Westminster and met my mom , he was compassionate and patient. I really thought this was going to be horrible and rough on my mom but thanks to both f these guys my mom is completely at ease and satisfied.
