I had a wonderful experience with Express Homebuyers. My situation involved a home that was inherited after my mother's passing. The home had been in the family for more than fifty years. It was full of wonderful memories but realistically it was time to go. As happens with older homes, it was in need of much repair. I owned a rental property where I had deferred some maintenance and upgrades. When a long standing renter moved out, I decided to attempt to sell the property “as-is” at a lower price. I was not a distressed owner. I was not constrained to sell the property in any particular time frame, certainly not 7 days. My motivation was to attempt to sell “as-is” to avoid managing a refurbishment project, dealing with realtors, and finicky buyers. However, if I did not get a reasonable “as-is” offer, I would go through with the refurbishment and sell the property in “move-in” condition.
