Dr.Raman is a great doctor! She’s very understanding and listens to your concerns. She is the BEST doctor I have ever seen. She did a great job with my first ever health exam. She explained everything to me in a very clear manner. She was also kind and friendly. All of the staff was great and very helpful. Health coach Karen is amazing with her help and guidance I was able to make so many positive life style changes. I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes back in 2005. After that pregnancy my blood sugars never went back to normal and have been prediabetic from 2005. My doctor back then suggested me to take metformin but I refused and managed my blood sugar levels with diet and exercise. I was able to maintain it at 5.7 for several years. But from last few years my AIC levels were constantly going up even after maintaining good diet and exercise regime. I have tried everything but my A1C was not budging, last year my A1C was 6.5 and my doctor suggested me to take metformin. I was on metformin for 7 months but my A1C still remained the same. That's when I found Dr Ramana's Webinar in Facebook. I wanted to try functional medicine but I was very spectacle that it would work as I was already following good diet and exercise regime along with some natural supplements to help control blood sugar. Two months into the program my A1C came down from 6.5 to 6.2 and in 5 months my A1C is now down to 5.9. I am so happy with my results and looking forward to working with Dr. Raman and her team to further improve my health and maintain a healthy life style.
