I rented to from Howard on Lake Austin during our recent visit from our home in Hawaii. I had seven brand new foilers, five them kids and they were all able to Fly by the end of the day. Howard was amazing! He brought the foils, helped set them up, answered all my questions, hung around long enough to make sure we were all successfully situated left and then returned to pick everything up at the end of the day. We had two very experienced foilers in our group, so we didn’t have any lessons but I think Howard would make a great instructor as well. I have no doubts about that when we return to Austin, Texas we will definitely go again!

Amazing experience. My husband’s instructor, Howard was super communicative, watched and gave clear instructions, tips and adjustments via wireless headset attached to the helmet. And my husband managed to fly.

Such a great experience my first time efoiling. The instructor was friendly and patient but also effective such that I was able to stand up (albeit for seconds!) not long after getting on the board. Maybe more importantly, he seemed invested in me having a great, successful experience—more like he wanted to share his passion with me vs. a pure business transaction. Both my wife and I had a great experience and wouldn’t hesitate to back to eFoil Austin in future. My kids are already counting the days until they’re old enough!
