Eastside Westside Music Together has made the single greatest difference in my daughter's early development. From class, she learned to part of a group, she adopted the expectation that she would be warmly greeted and embraced in class which paved the way for pre-school. She learned to sing, memorize songs, feel free dancing. The teachers are amazing and the program is so well organized. I cannot recommend it highly enough....
Music Together has been amazing! We love our teacher Davis and have so much fun in each class. The Facebook live classes during this crisis have been delightful and extremely helpful in enriching our daughters day. Scarlett and I are so thankful for the programs commitment to making sure our children receive the best education possible.

Music Together is the best! I am deeply grateful for the immensely talented and caring teachers we’ve had over the past 7 years. At Music Together, I learned how important music is for child development and parent development. It gave me the notes to sing to my children and filled our house with m... See More

Wonderful music program, and our daughter loves every class. She adores Danny and so do we. We make sure to pick his class every semester.

We love Eastside Westside music together. It truly is music education - and our daughter absolutely loves it. We sing the songs throughout the week.
My son has been attending ESWS music together classes since he was 10 weeks old. (He is almost 18 months now.) The classes have given him a wonderful appreciation of music from an early age. We listen to the music at home often. The program itself is incredibly well run and managed. Whenever I have ... See More

I first found out about Music Together when my son was about 6 months old, and I marveled at a friend's twins who appeared to be very musical (they were playing with instruments appropriately, keeping a beat, etc.): "Music Together," she explained. I found my local class (literally around the corner) and we've registered for every single semester since. My child has difficulty sitting still, following instructions, and paying attention for longer than 5 minutes, but through the class structure, the instructors (we've been in Danny Mahon's class for about two years now, and that man is a saint!) and, of course, the music, my son has thrived. He loves music, he expresses himself best by singing and dancing, he is fascinated by musical instruments (particularly the guitar, violin and piano) and his ability to listen, focus and follow Danny's instructions in the group setting have vastly improved. I am a huge fan of Music Together, I recommend it to every family, every child, and I believe the benefits of this kind of exposure to music are infinite.
My family loves Eastside Westside Music Together! I chose the place initially just because it's close to our home but I think but would be worth travel! we were fortunate enough to have the director as our music teacher and she is stellar. Kind, just the right amount of upbeat, and very in tune with all the children. we have gone for make up classes with other teachers and it seems like the whole team is great. The music class space is safe and so child friendly. The songs are fun, even I enjoy then as an adult! what a relief from the itsy bitsy spider (which is actually in one of the curriculum but jazzed up!) I find myself us g music class songs to engage my children regularly as well as when I am watching my nieces and nephews. We go to the mixed age class which is great because I can bring both my kids. I love that they can do an activity together. It can be hard to spot the door in on your first day. it's down a set of stairs that turns (see the picture). if you come with a stroller just take your kid out and the teacher will go help out and bring down your stroller.
This is our 2nd semester and my 1yr old daughter loves this class. We especially love the music development aspect as well as the passionate teachers. Our only wish would be to have songs with more modern and relevant lyrics. Otherwise we love the class!
We've done weekly music classes for 2 years, since our daughter was a young baby. Our daughter loves singing and music and we credit Music Together with exposing her to joyful music-making and with teaching us as parents how to foster a love of music. We do our classes at the 75th street facility and feel that its coziness makes it an ideal space for a class with young children. The stairs at 75th street look a bit intimidating with a stroller but the teachers are eager to help.
We absolutely love music classes. My 1 year old is really enjoying and I can notice his development.
