Dragon Gym Main Line

We were referred to DG when we moved to the area in the spring by a friend. My son has been in the program since regularly in addition to their summer camp. The instructors are very good with kids. The program supports him to build confidence, discipline and respect. He has learned many techniques and strikes and is motivated to progress through the training. Will definitely bring our younger when he reaches the age!

My 7 year old son learns responsibility, respect and discipline but really loves the ninja games. All of the instructors are excellent with the kids and we take advantage of the camps and parents night off events. Highly recommend!

Tom Palmer creates a safe and healthy environment that pushes you to work hard and become a better jiu jitsu practitioner. He is excellent at teaching moves that work for all body types. He is constantly studying to better himself and us! He will push you and it is hard work but I have never regretted stepping onto his mat!

My family has been training at dragon gym for 2 years now. I trained at other gyms prior to moving onto the area, and I have to admit I was nervous about finding quality instruction along with a great atmosphere when I moved. Fear not! We moved to the area over the summer and had to leave our previous gym. We were nervous about finding another gym for ourselves and our children. Luckily we found Dragon Gym Mainline! We couldn't ask for better instructors (Tom and Joey are AMAZING), a cleaner gym and an overall wonderful family atmosphere. If you are looking for a place for you (jiu jitsu) or your child (taekwondo and/or jiu jitsu) to get into martial arts I would highly recommend Dragon Gym Mainline. You will not be disappointed.

This gym has some of the kindest, most understanding instructors. I started training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu after my dad and brother convinced me to come to class, and I've now been doing it for about a year. I feel like I've grown more in confidence and learning in this past year than I have my whole life! The gym facilitates such cameraderie - my training partners are my family now. I'm looking forward to many more years here at DG!

My daughter started classes two months ago and learning so much. The instructors are dedicated, kind and engaged.

I had trained at Dragon Gym years ago until life got in the way. About 18 months ago I reconnected and travelled from Berwyn to Exton for their Tae Kwon Do karate program. I was excited when they opened the Berwyn gym and added adult Jiu Jitsu. I had never done Jiu Jitsu, but thought I would give it a try. I LOVE it. The instruction there is top notch and the connections and friendships that develop with your classmates is a pleasant bonus. It's so good I encouraged my children to join me. My teenage son and daughter train with me in an adult class and my 10 year old son is enjoying the kids class. I believe it's given them all a sense of confidence and new perspective on learning.

Our girls love it and the instructors are wonderful with the children! The train first then play really fun games at the end, which is their favorite part but gets them moving like crazy. It's also convenient for parents because if you need to run an errand, they are happy to have you drop off your child. It's a great place.

My son started karate in the summer and he loves it. The program has really boosted my nervous/shy son's self esteem and confidence. The instructors are amazing and really know how to handle kids at his age range (7-9 yr olds). They also know how to make instruction informative and fun. It truly has been a great experience.

We moved here from California almost six years ago. Away from family. Away from friends, away from the myriad of activities that my children were engaged in. We wanted our son to be exposed to martial arts and we visited a number of dojos in the area before joining Dragon Gym. We thought our son would learn taekwondo. We didn't imagine gaining a family. Our son is now on his way to earning his second degree black best and is taking part in the junior instructor program. Not only has he learned valuable defensive skills, but he has and continues to learn hard life skills. The instructors continue to instill values that echo our own. DG is the best! That's why we've been driving to Exton from Wayne for over a year ... We're thrilled it's coming closer! The instructors are so great with the kids. My son not only has fun and exercises, he also learns things like discipline, patience and respect. Love it!
