Dr. Mann helped me when no other conventional doctor could. I was experiencing mystery symptoms from various parts of my body. I was seeing my primary care doctor almost every other week, getting tons of testing, and seeing specialist after specialist. I felt I was fading away in a short amount of time and I didn’t know what was happening to my body and how to get stabilized. I found Dr. Mann through a referral from a friend. She ran a series of tests and listened to my experiences on what I was going on - past and present. She also believed my symptoms and listened to what I thought was going on. For the first time, I felt like a doctor was going to help me figure out the root of these symptoms and get me better. When I had doubts, she reminded me that I wasn’t this way before and my body could heal itself. After testing, we figured out some new information and treatments were put together. Since a healing timeline is unknown for each body, treatments were tailored to how my body was responding (even if sometimes I wanted to get everything treated at once!). Along with appointments, you will have access to support groups, educational sessions, and online, self-paced classes focusing on different topics. Her approach is to support your healing and equip you with lifelong knowledge for optimal health. I have completely changed my lifestyle which includes the types of foods I eat, eliminating household toxins, meditating, etc. I’ve learned of new therapies and how true healing works. I feel I’m not only on my way to healing completely from this episode but even feel better when I was “healthy.” One note on price, you do have to sign up for a certain length of months and it’s a substantial amount of money. Initially, the price was way more than I wanted to pay for treatments and I had already spent a lot on my health but after months with Dr. Mann I’ve learned an incredible amount and I felt I was able to get answers to any questions. Also, I felt I have a lot of access to Dr. Mann to help any treatment protocol. After months of commitment, I'm truly getting better. My wish is that functional medicine and doctors become more mainstream and everyone will be able to afford their expertise and care.
