Ordered a custome size screen / blind for our pavilion from Designer Awnings. This was a easy and very pleasant business experience. A family run business of extreme professionals from the initial phone call (Monica), to the site survey and quote (Derio) to the installation (Mario).

The awning is awesome. The two two tone colored columns match our house siding and the awning covers pretty much our entire deck. Very simple to use and the parts and material do not feel cheap but feel like good quality mechanical parts and fabric. The installers were very professional and Mario did an outstanding job installing it and ensuring everything works properly and answered all our questions. Dario was an outstanding sales person and was instrumental in helping us choose our design and type awning.

When the owner comes out on his weekend off to make an minor adjustment on an awning his company installed two years ago at no charge, that screams outstanding customer service and should be appropriately commended. Most companies can adequately install and provide a degree of service, but “Designer Awnings” take customer service and satisfaction to a whole new level. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone shopping for a new awning just for the knowledge and confidence that this owner will stand by their product and installation 100%

Just had our awning installed and it looks great. Our deck build out had been delayed and Designer Awnings held our awning until we were ready. I called to arrange installation and in less than a week the awning was installed. From the initial sales visit to my home to measure and review our options to the final installation it was a first class experience. Following the installation when Mario the installer opened up the awning to check everything over and review the operation with us it was evident we purchased a quality product from a quality organization. Designer Awning came out to give me an estimate and had a variety to choose from. But it was the professionalism and knowledge that impressed me to choose them and I am so glad I did. From the guys coming out to install, any questions I had and a prompt response to get back to me to one of the best warranties the business. If you are looking to add that special touch to the exterior of your home, I would recommend Designer Awnings.

We purchased the Sunesta Screens for our back patio which has an existing roof with three supports. The screens are eleven feet tall by 15 feet wide. We ordered 2 screens as the sun manages to dominate most of the patio by 1 PM. Additionally, we purchased the rail-guides with the screens so we would not have to tie off the screens when they are lowered to avoid flapping.

It took 2 visits to install. The first screen was installed with greater ease as it was connected to 2 pillars. The second screen was connected to one pillar and the house siding. This screen had a problem with lowering all the way. However, it was addressed and is now working.

We having been enjoying our patio every day. The screens are lowered each morning. This keeps the concrete cool. We measured the temperature and found the concrete was 15 degrees cooler than the concrete in...

Two installation technicians notified us by telephone, and when they arrived, they immediately went to work on a Sunday to make up for manufacturing delays due to the pandemic. I was very impressed by this company. The sales person explained everything clearly and did not try and push for a decision in any way. He was open and friendly and merely provided us with all the information we requested and left us to make our own decision. Once we agreed the installation guys were extremely helpful and friendly. We are now proud owners of a wonderful electric awning and looking forward to many hours of enjoyment with it

We installed an inground pool with a pool shed/bar. When it started to get hot, we couldn’t sit at the bar because of the sun. And when it rained, everything behind the bar got soaked. We knew about Designer Awnings because we had a large one installed at our tire shop and the guys are thrilled with it. So we decided to put a retractable awning on the east side of our shed. Dario came out, measured, gave us a quote and three weeks later, the installers arrived!! What great service!! We were so extremely satisfied with the end result that today we had 2 more installed...one on the west side and one across the front. Again, Dario came out, measured, gave us a quote and they were installed TWO weeks after he placed the order. We couldn’t be more pleased. Dario answered all our questions like the expert that he is, and his installers are precise, polite, and cleaned up...

In 2006 we decided to have an outdoor awning put out on our patio. After research and talking with several companies we went with Designer Awnings. We dealt with Dario. The awning was exactly what we wanted. The process was easy and they installed the awning. We have enjoyed our awning for the past 13 years. This year we noticed the material needed to be replaced. I reached out to the same company and spoke to Dario. By the next day our awning material was ordered. 3 weeks later it was installed. I can’t tell you how pleased we are with their product and their professional service. Their installation crew was great and after 40 minutes we had our new material replaced. Love their service!!! Absolutely love doing business with the same person and the same company.

After having two estimates and much research on the web, it was an easy choice for us to choose Designer Awnings to install our retractable awning. The owner personally came out to our home and immediately made us feel very comfortable and at ease with the entire process. His knowledge of the awning industry is incredible. He helped us determine the size and color that would best fit our home. This was the only awning we could find that would project out 14'8" and the amazing thing is that it has a lifetime Frame warranty. The awning also is the only awning in the country to have a Miami Dade building code.
It took only 3 weeks for the awning to be installed and their installation crew was extremely professional and did a fantastic job.
I would highly recommend Designer Awnings to anyone interested in a retractable awning.

I ordered my first awning about 4 years ago. I was so satisfied that I ordered
another one, for a different area, a year ago. Dario was vey informative and answered all questions I had without a problem. He also returned all phone calls within 24 hours. If he was running late, he called. He's the person to call for all and any information. The awning is well made and a sturdy product. They did a perfect, professional job in a timely manner, and cleaned up after themselves! I would, and did, recommend them, you won't be sorry.

My wife and I decided to add a patio to our home after many years. We had a company install a 15′ X 20′ patio made of pavers. Of course we then needed some sort of a roof to provide shade and protection from the elements. I started researching and decided that a retractable awning would probably be our best option. My problem was that most retractable awnings will not extend beyond 11′ thus leaving about 4′ of our patio exposed. By checking websites of companies in our area that sold and installed retractable awnings I came across Designer Awnings and the Sunesta awnings that they sold. The Sunesta extended 14′ 8″ rather than 11′. The awning was motorized to make extension and retraction very simple. The awning could be equipped with a wind sensor so that if wind speed got to be too fast the unit would sense it and automatically retract the awning to avoid damage. The owners of...

Just a note to let you know how much we are enjoying our Sunesta Awning. It was impossible to sit on our deck in the sunny hours of the day prior to having this awning installed. Now we can enjoy the deck anytime. We love the remote feature, too. It’s been a few years since the installation, but this awning looks brand new. It was a pleasure working with you.
