ENT Sinus & Hearing Care Center - Dr. Samadi

First off the other reviews here I’m sorry to say had a bad experience but for me a totally different experience. I was referred to dr samadi office 2 years ago after trying 5 different ENT for 9 years for my teenage daughter. The appointment making was easy you call ask if they take your insurance and then get a referral. Appointment was not far off from first time calling. Waiting was about 30 minutes because the office has to clear your insurance info and referral then I got in and the nurse practitioner ask u basic questions and why you are here. The doctor came in about 15 minutes later and is very straight forward. Why do you need me? It is your job to answer and detailed everything. Long story short after 3 different appointments and tests medications he had to fix surgically my daughter ear drum that was damaged from what her previous ENT. Dr. Samadi is best the ENT pediatric surgeon in Bergen County. He preformed my daughter’s adenoid, ear tube surgery and has seen her several times for aftercare. He’s not big on small talk but he’s a great doctor and I️ felt my child was in good hands which is the most important thing.

His staff has improved over the course of my daughter’s treatment there. They initially seemed a bit disorganized but I️ have noticed they are more responsive and better at managing the doctor’s schedule these days. Read more >

I definitely recommend Dr. Samadi. He is an amazing surgeon and am thankful he has taken care of my twins. When a week after surgery you witness your children babbling and trying to say words because now they can HEAR, what else matters. Seriously, he may not be the warmest person, but God had truly blessed him with the skill and knowledge needed in this type of profession. The girls in the office are so pleasant and my babies look forward to seeing them. As for Rachel well what can I say... My son has had croup for 6 weeks and its driven us nuts. My daughter's teacher recommended dr. Samadi, saying he was very friendly and some sort of miracle worker. I called on Thursday and was able to get an appointment on monday, which i MUST admit was pretty amazing for an ENT specialist. Most specialists told me i'd have to wait at least 2 months. The waiting room wasn't bad, wasn't outstanding either. The girls at the desk weren't the most upbeat people around but they were far from rude. The doctor really isn't a talker and hardly ever makes eye contact. A few times i tried to explain what i meant and he would respond with a dry "i know." Dr Samadi is hands down the best ENT in New Jersey. I am surprised to see the rude and negative reviews which do not reflect our experience at all. Our older son had very enlarged tonsils around 3 years old and eventually developed severe sleep apnea. We were seeking a second opinion with Dr Samadi as our original ENT at Riverside was very superficial and left a very bad impression. Dr Samadi did a comprehensive exam including allergy testing, sleep study etc before recommending surgery. He was able to schedule the surgery immediately upon receiving the results from the sleep study and upon our request. His office and his staff very extremely helpful, kind, and understanding throughout the whole process. We felt we made the right decision by going to his office to seek the second opinion. Dr Samadi is one of the best pediatric ENTs around, but his staff is sometimes incompetent. They don't know who you are and have to re-read your chart when they're in the room with you, at least they could do is read it before coming into the room and make you feel like you're a little more important Read more >

My experience with Dr. Samadi has been wonderful. I had been examined by another doctor who sent me for a Cat-Scan and after seeing the results told me I was fine that 'we all have a deviated septum'. Two weeks after that I experienced a nose bleed so bad I went to the emergency room at HUMC. The attending physician said I should see an ENT doctor and I told him my previous story. I was advised to find a new ENT doctor. To make a long story short I given a name of a doctor who does not take my insurance; I called HUMC and they provided me with a list of ENT doctors. It was then I found Dr. Samadi. I was very impressed with my first visit to see Dr. Samadi; his office and how professional his support staff was. The office staff is very pleasant and welcoming. There's no waiting, I was called in within 5 minutes to see the doctor. Dr. Samadhi is excellent, very understanding and explained my situation throughly. My ear was blocked for the longest time and couldn't find a permanent solution. Best ENT ever. He performed my sons surgery back in 2013 when he was just 1 at the time. He had severe sleep apnea and needed to have his tonsils and adenoids removed to help clear his airway better. He explained the procedure very well before the surgey and after the surgey he came and spoke to me on how it all went and what to Expect when I saw my son in recovery. Once home my sons recovery was a little difficult but anytime I called dr Samadi he was there to help. His staff is very kind and make appointment making easy and quick. I took my 13yo daughter for her severe deviated septum and the doctor suggested Septoplasty to correct it. We had it done and it was successfully fixed and she can breathe normally again. My overall experience was wonderful and could not get better. The staff was very nice and helpful. Would recommend to anyone in need of an ENT for children. Read more >

Dr. Samadi is the best specialist i ever met, During the past 18 months i spent about 20 visits at his office with my two little boys, he inserted tubes for my 6 y/o son, he worked with us parents to get my 4 y/o sons ear healed after suffering a busted eardrum. and Dr. Samadi is now in process of removing my 5 y/o son's tonsils and adenoids. Dr. Samadi is very friendly to kids. Dr. Samadi is very kind and honest to the parents, and he does a great job! during the past 18 months i spent about 15 visits with Dr. Samadi and i would recommend anyone that needs a good Pediatric ENT contact this doctor. he explains everything t o you as many times you need, until you understand the entire procedure. office staff are wonderful, although i pay a copay, i still believe that we need to do the best for our kids, and this is by having the best specialist in the field.
