I experienced why this office has such a low rating as a pediatric facility.

I recently had a very disappointing experience with Dacula Pediatrics when they refused to provide treatment for my child or allow rescheduling. I arrived today at 1:00 p.m and my daughter appointment was at 9:30 a.m which was a pure mix up in scheduling. This makes her second appointment which the first appointment I couldn’t make due to my son being badly injured during sports. I called prior to and explained my emergency. Despite communicating with the office we were turned away at the last minute because of their strict policy regarding having to reschedule after a missed appointments. Basically told me to find another doctor because I had an emergency and arrived at the wrong time for my second appointment. This could’ve easy been communicated with me after the unforeseen emergency or today after the time was confused by the appointment. Which was not explained to me or stated anywhere in their policies.

While I understand the need to maintain schedules, I believe that a pediatric office should show more flexibility and understanding, especially when it comes to children's healthcare. The staff's attitude was cold and unsympathetic, which made the situation even more upsetting.

As a parent, being denied treatment for my child was not only frustrating but also concerning. I expected better from a pediatric office that claims to prioritize the well-being of children. This experience has left me feeling let down and searching for a more compassionate healthcare provider for my family.

I would not recommend Dacula Pediatrics to other parents based on this negative experience. It's important for pediatric offices to balance professionalism with empathy, and unfortunately, this office fell short in that aspect.
