Cornerstone School of Summit

We have loved our experience at Cornerstone (preschool, pre-k, and our youngest now in 2s) because of the wonderful staff. Our kids have loved their teachers, feel safe, are happy to be dropped off, look forward to school all because of the amazing teachers.

We love Cornerstone and will miss it greatly for sure!

Having moved from another state where our older child attended a different preschool, we have a clear point of comparison - and this place is something special. Finding a school that truly feels like the right fit isn't easy, especially when you're new to an area, so we feel really lucky to have found it. Highly recommend to any family looking for a warm, nurturing environment where kids genuinely thrive.

Cornerstone feels like an extension of our family! The staff is incredibly welcoming and truly immerses themselves in the kids' lives, taking so much pride in helping them grow. Both of my children went here and still talk about how much they love it. Whenever I had a worry—whether it was about their development, socializing, or even when my child was being bullied—the teachers were so easy and open to talk to. They always listened and made the necessary changes right away. Overall, Cornerstone gave my kids the space to learn and find their independence. I am so grateful for the genuine care and mentorship they provide during these beautiful early years!

My toddler loved Cornerstone summer camp! To this day (after a month) and starting at a different school, he still mentions his teachers and friends he met at Cornerstone. They truly made an impact to him.

We had a wonderful experience at Cornerstone, my daughter is always excited to go to school, she learned so much and was ready for kindergarten. The teachers and all the staff were great.

Cornerstone has been one of the BEST decision we could have made regarding preschool for our kids. For two working parents, being able to give a preschool experience with flexible hours has been a dream. The play based curriculum and focus on advocating for yourself and what you need from school has been such an important component of kindergarten readiness (that we didn’t realize we needed). Some of our kids best friends to this day (and ours) all met without the cozy walls of Cornerstone! This is our last year and it is going to be a bittersweet goodbye. So thankful for Cornerstone and their warm, loving, competent teachers!!

I LOVE Cornerstone School of Summit for its dedication to a play based curriculum. It sets a love of learning in young minds which is an important foundation for life. The social and problem solving skills set a strong foundation for kindergarten and we couldn’t be happier with our choice for sending both of our children to Cornerstone!

Cornerstone School is a true gem of Summit, NJ!
The staff are incredibly professional and deeply connected to their mission of providing a safe, nurturing environment where little ones can develop and flourish. The teachers are highly communicative with the parents, and the overall vibe of the organization is one of empowerment and enrichment from the young hearts and minds to the families that they are a part of.

Our 5 year old is graduating this Spring, and will have been a Cornerstone pupil since she age 2.5 --- she not only learned foundational thinking skills in the "3 R's" (reading, writing, arithmetic) , but has clearly developed confidence to be independent and connected member of home life and the greater community.

Our 3 year old daughter loved her time at Cornerstone this summer. The teachers were tremendously caring and we loved the diversity of activities offered throughout the program. Our whole family can't wait until next summer!

Cornerstone is a great school that made us feel welcome since the first day. My kids love it. I recomend it with all my heart.
