Very efficient and friendly staff

I’ve had an excellent experience at Cohen Eye Institute Old Bridge. Doctor Cohen, and his staff are professional and pleasant. I’m glad I chose Dr. Cohen for my cataract surgeries.

Dr Argano was wonderful. I woke up with terrible eye pain and they were able to take me on the same day. I had a scratched cornea. The office is bright and cheerful. It was an excellent experience.

Excellent surgeon Dr Ilan Cohen. Terrific staff especially Kelly and Kelly Anne. Also hats off to Dr Chen and Dr Argano.

I was advised by my ophthalmologist that my cataracts had advanced to the point of requiring surgery! I woke one morning looking through a cloud. She referred me to Dr. Cohen. I was impressed how his office ran so efficiently. The staff are so friendly, courteous, helpful. Everything is clean and well maintained. The procedure was explained and my questions answered. I knew I was in the right place and good hands, literally!
My first eye left one, was done on June 3. I was able to see after the surgery, blurry but the lights were brighter, colors more vibrant! I cried! My vision had been impaired and I did not know how bad until the cataract was gone. Painless laser surgery with “young vision lens”! When I was in recovery, Dr. Cohen handed me the most beautiful flower in the world! He asked me what color of the flower was? I cried .....

Procedure was quick. Didn’t feel a thing. Dr. Cohen was very nice and friendly. When surgery was done he gave me a long stem rose. Nurses were really kind and caring.

I just finished having cataract surgery with Dr. Ilan Cohen. I had both eyes done. I had my right eye done first and I could not believe how everything went and that my was so clear right after the surgery. Same for the left eye. Dr. Cohen and his staff are very professional and caring. They call me and text me to see how I was doing. I would highly recommend Dr. Cohen and his staff for anyone considering cataract surgery. My wife and I will never use Cohen eye institute ever again! I never paid for routine eye exam before with my insurance just the copay, now you charged me routine exam fee! If this was the case why didn't you tell me this before the eye exam? You charged this fee without my authorization! This is an illegal practice! I will complain about this to any place that needs to be!

The moment you walk through the doors , you are greeted with a smile and a welcome. The girls at the front desk are very personable. The other staff members are very friendly and helpful. Dr. Cohen makes you feel at ease and explains everything to you about your eyes.
