This was the first time I have had a professional cleaning service do my home. Perhaps I set my expectations too high, but I felt a little disappointed. She spent an inordinate amount of time cleaning the shower in our guest bath; I had cautioned her that the shower tile would probably not come clean. I appreciated her determination, but feel that this resulted in her running over by an hour and still having to rush through the kitchen and utility room floors. I have moved the shelf that contained the ceramic figurine (broken) to avoid it being hit in the future. Since the cleaning was my idea, my husband insisted I replace it. Perhaps there were some additional things I could have done to prepare for her arrival? I would be interested to know what additional changes I could make to assist. I am a little worried that the time set aside for our monthly cleaning will not be sufficient.
