Chubby Trout

Tried the Chubby Trout for the first time this evening. The restaurant was busy but was seated quickly. The beer selection is very good. I sampled the Blonde Ale which was outstanding. I ordered the "signature" soup, Pepper Crab. Presentation was outstanding. Rich, creamy consistency, plenty of crab meat, and great taste. I also ordered the Filet with Mushroom Cream Sauce and Mashed Potatoes. Looked really nice when plated. A simple dish with great flavor. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely stop back when in the area!

Great experience at the Chubby Trout! They got us seated right away after we went to the ND game. The caramel apple martini was the bomb!!! Sue sue tacos are 🔥 and the chocolate cake is an extravaganza, we couldn’t even finish. Shelby was an amazing server!! Everything was great , we will be back if in town!

Went to Chubby today and everything was great! Amanda was fast and very nice. Food was great, I tried the New Orleans pasta and it was 🔥

We enjoyed the signature dish last night - our first visit. The service was excellent, the prices quite reasonable. One of the better places to eat in Michiana.

Went out on a date night and had a nice, and tasty meal. I had my usual choice off the chubby trout menu the Caribbean chicken sandwich, wonderful as always. My wife had the 3 cheese brisket macaroni, which was quite good as well.

This place is a must go to... 8 handles of in house beers and plenty of guest handles. Cool flight boxes. The Sue Sue shrimp tacos were a great value. Our server working the bar high tops gave us plenty of attention, made good recommendations and made us feel very welcome.

Kelcie was our server, she was very professional and on tempo with our evening. We never felt like we were being ignored or forgotten, this is something to say these days!! Kudos to her! On top of that the food was amazing and fast! Loved every bit, will recommend and return!

The smoked prime is glorious! I only get it once a year for RV show!

Order the smoked prime rib. We come once a year to RV show. We eat here every time!

Enjoyed our meals of Res Dragon sushi, Mango Mahi, and Blackened Chicken sandwich. An attentive and non-intrusive server was very nice. Would recommend if you're in town.

We never been here before and it was delicious and we will be returning as soon as we can. Sushi was awesome and I'm small so it was fantastic that the sushi was nice a small but not less food
