What a great experience. From the friendly, helpful and attentive staff (not only my specific server but all were very willing to help). Starting off with perfectly balanced cocktails, taking my specific requests into consideration…On to the sushi appetizer with very healthy portions and intense and creative rolls (I ordered the easy crab slammer-pictured). Then the pepper crab bisque that came with a pile of crab and a very acute “you can taste it but it’s not overbearing” peppery bisque. And the grand finally main course “fishin’ off the pier” seafood sampler complete with their signature fresh caught “chubby Charlie” trout on top of a seafood cake (only critique is the seafood cake was a little heavily salted), coconut shrimp and its sweet but not too seeet dipping sauce and lightly fried lake perch with two sides- a baked potato and vegetable medley. We stopped in for a lunch doing errands on a Sat PM, what a great place to eat, great service, very good food!
I had a grouper sandwich my friend had a burger both meals were just PERFECT and we will definitely be back!

My husband and I stopped there while in town for our daughters hockey tournament. We went for Sushi date night. The bartenders were super friendly as we had to sit at the bar because there was a wait with it being a Friday night. The friendly patrons sitting next to us gave us great recommendations on which sushi rolls were the best. Never had to ask our waitress/ bartender for a thing, the 2 main ladies were on top of it. We left super pleased and we're very impressed how insinque everyone was and how they all chipped in to make the crazy busy night a successful one for anyone that ate there.

We were traveling through town and were looking for a good local place to eat at. We decided to try this place, and it was a great choice! My husband got the fried perch, and I got the classic California roll with a sweet tart cocktail to drink. The fried perch was super good and I loved my cocktail! Siera and Makena were so great and helpful. We'll definitely come back again next time!

Fantastic service! Everyone was very friendly and helpful. A server, not our own, heard us mention the bar table seats were not comfortable and she brought us two new, very comfy bar seats. The food was excellent and drinks were delicious as well. Highly recommend.

The Chubby Trout is a hidden gem of great seafood, attentive customer service and fun atmosphere. The seafood options were a wonderful, unique surprise, nothing like typical options found at chain restaurants. The staff are pleasant and attentive.

Let me just say I absolutely love Chubby Trout. Their sushi is the best in the area. Our waitress Liz is amazing. I have had her multiple times and she is very attentive and took excellent care of us. I love this place and try to go back regularly!!!

Dani was such an amazing waitress and made sure we were comfy and warm even though we sat outside!

Food is always top notch, I have been traveling up for work and make this place a must stop every time. I have never had a sub par meal here and the selection leaves something for the next trip.

Bailey's recommendation this time did not disappoint. If your traveling through this is a garuntee hit for a stop.... A+ in my book
