We like to patronize small privately owned restaurants. This was a wonderful experience!
So, where to begin… next to the food, our server Liz absolutely made the evening. From suggestions to service, she is top notch, we’ll definitely ask for her the next time we visit.
Now dinner was amazing. We started with the crab cakes and the side salad. The chunks of claw meat and seasoning, being pan seared just right then served with a whole grain aioli and lemon - literally melted in your mouth. The side salad was a beautiful array of greens with the right fresh vegetables to accompany . The dressings, made fresh, in house, complimented the sizable salad.

Went here for lunch while truck was getting serviced. Had the pretzels and beer cheese and fried perch basket with fries and coleslaw for lunch. Everything was fantastic. 5 out of 5 stars. AB waited on me and is probably the best in the business. While I went straight for junk food, they had so many healthy options on their menu. Definitely recommend you give 'em a shot. Underwhelming food and drinks.
Perhaps my expectations were too high, but this restaurant experience did not live up to either the Google ratings or my experience. Arrived at 5:45 on a Friday, and we waited on the outside patio for our other two guests to arrive. Ordered one of their featured cocktails, only to find out that they were already OUT of those at this time on a Friday! (Poor planning?) The outside patio area is very nice and much quieter than indoors. The benches we seated at for our table, really uncomfortable. The interior space is quite loud. The food was mediocre: when I go out, I like to have something I could not create at home, and that was not my experience at this place. I understand they are known for there fish, but we are not fans of fish. We were told many non fish item on menu that are very good. We had burgers that were very tasty. Waitress was funny and a joy to be around. Very good kraft beers. Highly recommend. Read more >

I was so excited to try Chubby Trout. I have heard great things. I was very disappointed. Went there about 5 on May 11 2024. Granted I know they would be busy. The sushi was going to be 45 minutes. Ok since it was my birthday so we waited. The waiter came and said the sushi was done much faster then the 2 burgers that were ordered. When we received the meals, the burgers were terrible. The buns were burnt on the bottom and the burgers were so dry that they almost could not eat them. I would try again but my husband and daughter are not sure if they would. Read more >
