First time here and needed a nice chill environment and a good dinner. Smoked Prime was great as was the atmosphere.

We ate here on 10/2/2025 …. It was just incredible. The food was delectable!! Our eating experience was capitalized by the attentive, personable, and genuine personality of our waitress Liz! We had a 2 and a half year old with us and Liz was so kind and considerate with the struggles of bringing a young one to dinner ! Thank you chubby trout- you rock!

My mom & I met for a girls dinner last week and had the best experience and time! the last time her and i went together we had a awful experience with our waitress so having Bailey this time was a breath of fresh air! Bailey was amazing and made sure we were well taken care of! She was an awesome waitress and our food was also amazing!!
We will def be back in the future and asking for Bailey if we can!

The fish was fantastic the service was great. I had the trout my wife had the perch. My trout was cooked just right. the side salad was delicious with good mix of greens and a red wine vinegarette dressing. The perch was sautéed with a light breading. The mixed veggies were perfectly cooked.

Decided to try this based on a recommendation from a colleague and it did not disappoint. I sat at the bar due to a long wait for a table, but the service was still great! Started with the salted caramel apple martini, moved to the Fat Hop Motor Boatin (American pale wheat) and for dinner had the delicious rainbow trout. Would definitely recommend if you are in the area. Not sure if they take reservations but may want to try just in case!

Taylor was so quick and efficient serving us. Always smiling and great attitude. Also, compliments to the chef on the Chubby trout and frying the perch and bluegill to perfection. No grease just flavor

We loved this place!! We were in Indiana and found this gem! Bailey was awesome as a waitress and the sushi was fantastic!

Atmosphere, food and drink selections were all excellent. We really enjoyed the Ashley Roll sushi and the trout was delicious. Our server, Taylor, was outstanding.
