Chubby Trout

I've been twice in the past week. Both experiences have been really good. My first visit I ordered the Chubby Trout entrée, and on my second visit I had a Cajun seafood dish from their daily special list. I enjoyed both meals - the seafood was well cooked and well seasoned. The servers during both visits were very friendly, helpful, and attentive. I'm looking forward to my next visit.

Had the Spicy tuna roll and Rainbow roll...they were amazing. Second time, we have eaten here, on the past three days. Wait staff- Yessenia and Liz are fabulous!

I make this wonderful restaurant a stop everytime I travel, both for the great atmosphere and the outrageously good fresh water fish dishes. The first time I came here 3 years ago Tanner was my bartender/server and single handedly made me a regular - even if I only as I come through the area once or twice a year . The food is so wonderful and the service is fantastic! I go home at least annually & tell my family at Notre Dame and all friends to come here. I Love This Place; I Love This Bar — the Fat Hop selections are fantastic micros . You can’t go wrong at The Chubby Trout !!!!

Delicious food and wonderful service. Generous portion sizes. Bonus points for having a separate gluten-free menu!

Wonderful dinner. Our server was “Yesenia”. She was knowledgeable of everything and allowed us to have a fantastic dining experience. I did not take any photos but photos already here do it justice. Started with calamari full order. Absolutely fantastic. Nice battered square 4” lengths not rings. Pepe Crab bisque definitely a winner. I had almond crusted Walleye with baked potato and sauteed veggies. Loved every bite. Wife had 2 rolls, chef Gil roll and kamakazi roll. 2 salmon nigiri. I was amazed at quality of these rolls and prep. Winner winner! I did see a nice prime rib dinner also. Can’t say enough goodness about this meal. Thank you Yesenia!

We stopped for lunch, first time at new location, and really enjoyed everything. Both of our meals were excellent along with great service.

We sat outside and were waited on by Amanda A. The food was very good. Many choices that kept everyone happy. Service was friendly, and helpful. The desserts were good as well! We’d be happy to eat here again.

The food is amazing, sat out on the patio tonight and enjoyed our meal. The limoncello martini is delicious. Blue gill was on point. Sushi appetizer is always amazing here. Amanda a. Was fantastic.

I was crushed when my lover of three month left to be with another girl. I cried and sobbed every day, until it got so bad that I reached out to the Internet for help. I threw away so much money, all for nothing. until I hit on the real thing. And that is you, DR Mathew. You were different from all the rest spell caster that i have know. you are the diamond in the rough. Thank you from the depths of my soul! I am extremely happy now. Had lunch here with my older kids and we all loved everything. The calamari fingers were tender and delicious. The sesame ginger ahi salad was also super good.

Super cool place to check out if you’re in the area. Desiree (sorry I don’t know how to spell it) was our bartender and she did an absolute fantastic job! We didn’t realize we were walking in close to closing time and they took absolute care of us! We had the steaks which were fantastic and cooked perfect! The mushrooms were a must to add a massive flavor to it. Super awesome hosts highly recommend going here and checking it out. It’s hard to impress me when it comes to steak and these guys did a great job. Also I had the fish tacos the day before which were fire! McKenna was a great server! The wasabi on the fish tacos were perfect mix of spicy and delicious. Good beer selection with I think 22 options on draft.
10/10 will be back when we are in the area again.

The sushi looked great, I just didn’t order any because I was in the mood for steak.
