Very cool little place! Great waitress, great food, great drinks! Need to come back soon.

My husband and I live nearby, but this was our first time eating at the Chubby Trout. The restaurant is adorable, both inside and out. It looks like a barn and has a very cool country vibe. We were immediately greeted and seated by friendly staff. The server was very attentive and the food came quickly. It was my husband's first time having sushi. We tried the Spiced Salmon roll and the California Roll. Both were absolutely delicious! Neither of us drink alcohol anymore, but for those who do they have a full cocktail bar and the drinks I saw looked amazing. And we got our two rolls and sodas for $27! We both agreed that we will definitely be back and highly recommend that you give them a try if you are in the area.
Also, if you don't like seafood, they also serve steak and some chicken dishes.

We had a wonderful time with our friends there. Our waitress, Bailey was fantastic. They're gluten-free menu there is a really good one.

Food was amazing as usual. It was super busy for a week night but Taylor did an awesome job of getting our order and checking in with us! My kids loved the sushi! We will be back sooner than later!

Best local restaurant in Elkhart. The food is consistently good with a varied menu for non-seafood options. If you're stopping by Elkhart, this is a must visit.

Our waitress was Amanda A. Who was very knowledgeable and very friendly and made our dining experience excellent our favorite menu item is the smoked prime rib always excellent and we try not to miss it.
We have also found the sushi to be exceptionally fresh and very tasty prepared and served beautifully!

Came for a small company lunch and KATELIN was our server, she was great! And the food was delicious! We got the sue sue shrimp basket, coconut shrimp basket and chicken tenders. Super good! And amazing service!

Cam & Sue have a gem of a restaurant (one of many) here on the north side of Elkhart. Chubby Trout has consistently been a quality perveor of food and service for over a decade. The staff has been helpful, considerate, as well as professional. Recently we had Katelin who has been hostess, but recently turned server. She is great!

Can't go wrong with the sushi, fish tacos, salmon and rice, salads or burgers. Sue sue shrimp is also to die for! Check out their daily specials as well as the chef is always cooking up something tasty to try!

Thanks Chubby Trout for providing such a great option north of town just off the Toll Road! You OWN that space!
