Tiff was wonderful…very attentive and friendly! The stuffed mushrooms were so good! And of course the crab bisque was on point, like always.

The food here was absolutely incredible! Every dish was packed with flavor, beautifully presented, and clearly made with care. From the first bite to the last, everything was fresh and perfectly seasoned.

What really made our visit stand out, though, was the outstanding service from Katelin. She went above and beyond to make sure our dining experience was perfect—checking in at just the right times, offering great recommendations, and making us feel genuinely welcome. Her friendly attitude and attention to detail made the meal that much more enjoyable.

I can’t recommend this place enough. If you’re looking for amazing food paired with top-notch service, ask for Katelin—you won’t be disappointed!

We were on a bus tour, starting in Pennsylvania and our tour guide suggested the Chubby Trout.
This place was walking distance from where we were staying. I would definitely recommend this establishment.
Our server Katelin was very pleasant and helpful.

This is such a great little place to stop in during a road trip. I don't expect a place like this in a small stopover town like Elkhart. They have lots of great stuff on their menu, including hard to find fish, sushi rolls prepared in house, and good sides.

Went here for our 19th wedding anniversary dinner. We had a lovely time with great service from Amanda W. I had the shrimp tacos that were delicious and super filling! My husband had a bacon cheeseburger that was incredible. Our server even brought us a little dessert plate for our celebration!

I love the whole menu at Chubby. I go there for Friday lunches and love the perch meal and the sushi specials. Taylor at the bar always makes my day! Great place for family, casual, or business dining.
