Best restraunt in ELKHART hands down!

I always enjoy the sushi and craft beer at Chubby Trout.

Strongest pours I’ve ever witnessed. The smoked wings were decent even by Texas standards. It seemed like a fun place to work which made it a fun place to hang out.

Excellent food and service!!

Service was great! Only thing better than the fish was was the sweet potato fries! And the only thing better than that was the dessert!

Great rolls, and the service was also very good.

Excellent dinner: very fresh and delicious walleye with perfectly sauteed summer squash. Not to mention a choice of 22 craft beers and efficient, helpful staff

Chubby Trout is owned by the same people who own Flippin Cow, just down the road.

Flippin Cow lacks in the service department, but Chubby Trout is 1000x better when it comes to service.

I enjoy the food at Chubby Trout (my favorite being the Prime Rib). Half Price Sushi is on Monday, if that’s what you’d prefer (sushi is good, wait time can get pretty lengthy though).

Check out Chubby Trout if you’re in the area, it’s definitely better than a chain restaurant.

Excellent food, great atmosphere. Local, fresh ingredients. Visiting from Chicago and was impressed with the quality. Menu is sushi/barbeque/fresh fish so we tried it all and it was all good. Heading to the back to get the backstory...

If Donald Sutherland will make the trip to Chubby, it is pretty damn good sushi!

Great beer. Yummy food

They poor the best craft beer, food is 100% fresh, atmosphere is amazing, its clean, the staff are clean and energetic and extremely welcoming.. you may find some higher priced beer/food but you get what you pay for. I WILL BE BACK!
