Our daughter started in the Infant 1 class at Children's Lighthouse of Oak Forest at the beginning of the year. Everything about becoming a parent during the pandemic has been different than we imagined, but the Lighthouse staff and their classroom apps have kept us connected to how our baby is adjusting in her new care environment throughout each day - we can access live video, receive snapshots from the teachers during activities and text back and forth with the teachers regarding her needs. I'm so thankful for the peace of mind I have in leaving my child at the Lighthouse; I am very comfortable with their safety and sickness precautions as well as the level of care and attention our child receives when she's there. A wonderful daycare with a very strong community atmosphere. I love that all the staff know my son, as well as me and my husband. My son is in the 12-18 months classroom and the teachers are fantastic. You can see other staff helping out in the classroom throughout the day, which I think is important to give teachers a hand. And I get daily photos of my son engaging in various developmental activities on the app. Very easy to communicate directly with his teacher and she is very responsive! Read more >
