Children's Lighthouse of Viridian

Nothing but wonderful things to say- both of our children go here and love it. The teachers and staff are amazing, and the activities that they plan for the children are above and beyond. That being said, I understand there is a teacher retention problem, which is a real shame. Hoping that the teachers can get a raise from the owners and paid more to assist with this retention problem. The school is too great to lose good staff!

Pro: Convenient, a few great teachers. Cons: failure to report head injury in 48 hrs, over a month for report in hand. Found out only through app next day. Spoiled milk served to kids, initially denied, then kids got sick and was told they threw it out after. Troubled youth in class with behav issues not being addressed, hitting other students extensively. Problems with safe ratios. Teachers not happy being there due to constant staff changes and issues with children (behavior/not being fed). Class grew from14 to 35 students in summer, multiple problems, especially communication.

My two children have attended since 2019 and I recommend Children's Lighthouse Viridian because it has aided in giving them a caring and well-rounded preschool education.

Children's Lighthouse is home away from home for my kids! My twins love the atmosphere and teachers are very caring and loving. The facility is nice and clean and the kids are exposed to several activities throughout the day that help them grow and learn! Highly recommend!

Lighthouse has been so amazing with my 3 month old. He has only been going one week and he already gets excited when he see's his teachers in the morning.

This paranoid first time mama loves the updates throughout the day with pictures and videos. Ms. Grace is so patient with the kiddoes and always seems to give so much love.

They have only lost a star because the communication about and during the waitlist period was so poor. I signed up when I was 3 months pregnant (Nov 2021) and was told that I would get a spot when he was ready in June because the list was short. I received no communication until I called in May to make sure things were squared away. On that call I was told I was in the 12th spot and probably would get a spot until winter 2022. I panicked and found another day care but then the week before we were suppose to start I called again and was...

We love everything about this school. The teachers are great! Our daughter is having a lot of fun and happy going to school everyday. They handled and are still handling COVID efficiently! I would recommend them with no reservations!

I have 3 children enrolled and they've learn so much. Many activities that they can participate in, like soccer, science, dance, and exercise activities. They've been going there for 2 years. Wonderful place. Highly recommended.

We are very happy with Children’s lighthouse Viridian! All the staff are great people and really seem to care about the children in their care. My daughter has learned so much during the time she has been there. The peace of mind knowing she is in a safe place with people who care about her is the best part! Also, having the live feed video available where I can check in on her throughout the day is priceless.

I love the staff and the teachers here. They truly care and they know all the student's names. Definitely happy that our son is attending here and I know he's in good hands and learning a lot. The place is well kept and clean. I recommend this place the only thing I know is that the wait list is terribly long but like many good daycare this is a common occurrence.

We love lighthouse Viridian! We love that the teachers are attentive and loving to our child. It makes it easy to drop her off when we know she will be happy and taken care of all day.

After 2 1/2 years at this fine facility it is bittersweet that we are moving away upon my husband’s retirement. This is my 4th “daycare chef” job and so it’s with maturity and experience that I can honestly say - it has been wonderful.

At every job I give 100% and sometimes it seems like that’s not enough. However at Children’s Lighthouse Viridian I have felt very appreciated, from the owners, the awesome managers & the teachers! And the families - thank you all for your sweet holiday wishes and gifts and even recipe requests. Your children are so precious. 🥰

Last year I got a decent raise and this year I got a $1000 bonus! Earlier this year there was an awards banquet, a fun catered event that I’ve never experienced from any hourly job in the past.

We’ve been at lighthouse nearly 2 years and have been very happy with our experience so far!

First of all I should congratulate everyone there about there Politeness and there warn welcome, it is a delight for my child to attend there and also it never a dull moment when we walk through the class room door.The teacher are very respectful and welcoming and I don’t know how u guys do it but 👍🏽👍🏽🤗🤗

My son loves to go here everyday. A lot of fun activities and the teachers are nice. Clean and neat place!!!

Children’s lighthouse Viridian has been amazing from the time I registered my son and currently still is. We love our school which we now consider an additional family.

CL has been a wonderful experience for our family. They teachers are great but their front office is class. Trusting your family with others is a major decision, and one we did a lot of research on. We are glad we landed with Children’s Lighthouse of Viridian!

I love this place.

Honestly, I cannot say enough good things about this place.. In the beginning we were really careful about where we put our son, but looking back, this was the best decision possible for us and our son loves it! We are very pleased with the staff and the quality of care provided to all of the kids there. 👌

The best place ever! I have 3 children that attend her and the staff is amazing. They also have extra programs that my children live very much. There's the DaVinci science, soccer, and monkey fitness. They look forward to those activities every week. Wonderful place and the kids learn so much here. Definitely recommended for any parents.

We love the parent night out opportunities, summer field trips, and splash pad in the summer. Our two kids love going and have made such great friends there.
