Children's Lighthouse The Woodlands

To whom it may concern,

My name is Amy Honeycutt I am the owner and coach of a sports foundation enrichment program by the name of Playball. I have been bringing my program to the Children's Lighthouse Woodlands location since 2019.

Prior to owning this business, I was a preschool educator for 20 years. 15 at a NAEYC accredited very high standards school in the area.
I have seen many directors and school situations not only during my teaching career, but also now as an owner and coach that goes to multiple schools.
I have and know many wonderful directors, but I wanted to write a review of excellence especially for director Radia Bouzidi.
I have watched her in this position truly excell to the benefit of the school as a whole as well as in a personal capacity with the teachers, students, and families.

I have know her in a teaching role, a curriculum director role, and now the director of center role. As she has stepped into the directors position, I have watched her bring a spirit of true leadership and capability coupled with a contagious spirit of joy, enthusiasm, encouragement, and genuine care for staff and families. She has also clearly created a sense of trust for the families as they know their precious children are in capable and loving hands each day with her and the staff she has.

I frequently hear her talking words of encouragement to her staff. They clearly know that they are genuinely seen, appreciated, and trusted. This is very important amongst a high stress daily job and it trickles down into how staff sometimes interacts with the children.
As I was in the school for a few hours again today coaching I heard and saw what I always do...laughter, genuine care amongst coworkers, positive conversations, and more. Since her obtaining this position, I have watched a beautiful progression in her personally as she clearly loves her job and school, the staff, the students. The school atmosphere as a whole is calm, clean, safe, and happy.
I truly hope this is a role she is in for many years to come because the school is better with her for sure. She is also always looking for new wonderful ideas to increase her knowledge in the field, her staffs knowledge in the field, and bringing the families into the fold to create a very parent involved school.

She is perfect for this leadership role.
