Children's Lighthouse of Raleigh

Lighthouse is kind and attentive and my baby is happy every day when I pick him up. The rooms are always clean and pick up and drop off are easy to manage.

We recently switched daycares and joined Children’s Lighthouse and we have seen a WORLD of difference in just one week here. The staff is very friendly and attentive to the kids at all times and I’m not left anxious dropping my son off, knowing that he’ll be in good hands all day

We are so grateful for the amazing teachers and staff at this early learning center! Their dedication and patience have made such a positive impact on our bilingual child’s development. In just a few weeks of our stay here my daughter is now fully potty trained and has already started tracing letters and shapes—something I didn’t expect to happen so soon at such an early age!
The teachers - Ms. Deonna and Ms. Martika truly go above and beyond to make learning fun and chidren’s stay safe. I really like the multicultural approach in the curriculum. There is also an enriched program, such as music lessons and yoga.
We truly appreciate these and couldn’t be happier with the care and education our child is receiving here.

We enrolled our son at 3 months, and over the last 16 months this daycare has exceeded every expectation. The infant and toddler teachers are incredibly attentive, communicate well, and genuinely care about the kids. Our son has hit so many milestones with their encouragement and always lights up when he arrives. The classrooms are clean, well-organized, and full of enriching activities. We feel grateful every day for the safe, loving environment they’ve provided.

This is our second time having one of our kids at the Lighthouse, and the school is just as good as when our oldest attended! The teachers are patient, loving, and attentive. Deja and Lillie have been so wonderful with easing my son into the class routine. I highly recommend the Lighthouse, and all the staff who make it feel like home away from home.

We have attended multiple daycares in North Raleigh and Children’s Lighthouse is by far our best experience. The teachers are caring and attentive and create a supportive and enriching environment for our kids. Communication with families is great, and the leadership is professional and highly organized. The facility is always clean which we have noticeable difference in our kids staying healthy. Thank you to all the teachers and staff that continue to have a positive impact on our children’s lives!

I have two children in Children’s Lighthouse and there has been ups and downs. However, I want to give a shout out to Ms. Kaysha, she started the same time as my son and they bonded instantly and now she is with my daughter. She made the transition to daycare seamless, you can really see how much she cares for the kids by the way they light up when they see her in excitement.

My daughter started at 18 months and graduated two years ago. My son started at 3 months and graduates next year. My experience with CLR has been amazing. I love this place, these people are my family. Some of my all time favorite peeps are Ms. Cammie, Ms. Erin, Ms. Sierra, Ms. Kaysha, Ms Christina, Ms. Brittany, and Ms. Mariah. There are so many more but I'm sure I'll run out of room. ❤️💛❤️💛

We've been part of the Lighthouse family for over four years, and it's been a truly wonderful experience. The teachers are consistently loving, kind, and attentive, it’s clear how much they care for the children. The administration has always been incredibly responsive, thoughtful, and open to any questions or concerns we've had.

Both of my kids have made such sweet friendships and genuinely look forward to coming each day. The pre-K program has done a fantastic job preparing my oldest for kindergarten both academically and socially.

We're so grateful to have found a place that feels like a second home for our kids. Thank you to everyone at Lighthouse for the love and care you pour into what you do every day!

We've had a child at Children's Lighthouse for over 7 years and have always appreciated the care, attention and dedication our children's teachers (Ms. Whitney and Ms. Ta'Kala now, but Ms. Brittany and so many other from the past) have given them. The admin staff is wonderful to work with. Ms. Cammie is always willing to talk and listen to concerns and share praise. Ms. Erin and Ms. Sierra really make sure the children have what they need in each class and Ms. Bre'Anna is my little one's favorite chef. :) We've been so happy with our time at Children's Lighthouse.

My son began attending Children's Lighthouse in July of 2024, and we have had a great experience. Everyone greets us with a smile and teachers and staff all seem excited to see my son as he comes down the hall at drop off and pickup.

He's in Room 3 now with Ms. Chelsea and Ms. Destinee and they have created such a positive learning environment. He seems excited to arrive every morning and is always greeted with big smiles and hellos.

Children's Lighthouse as a platform does a great job of keeping us informed, including pictures and updates all day long that are the highlight of my day while I'm at work.

Would highly recommend.

We’ve had a wonderful experience at Children's Lighthouse of Raleigh. My son's teacher (Ms. Key and Ms. Brittney) are both incredibly patient, kind, and attentive. They create a warm, nurturing environment where kids feel safe and excited to learn. We’ve seen so much growth and happiness in our child since starting here.

Our child has had a great experience at Lighthouse. She has grown so attached to her teachers and once she moves up to another (older) classroom she has to go back and visit her favorite teachers, Ms. Key, Ms. D., and Ms. Deja. She is learning so much and comes home singing songs about the days of the week and colors in Spanish. She absolutely adores Ms. Ikeita and we do too- she has gone above and beyond for our little one. Ms. Ikeita truly loves our child and it’s so comforting to know that!

Really impressed, especially last 2 years, in the quality we get from Children's Lighthouse. Teachers are great, facility is nice, and the special events (e.g. showcases, graduation) have outclassed our eldest's at his elementary school. Going to miss our time there as our youngest moves on but will have fond memories. Thank you Children's Lighthouse for caring and teaching our boys!

As first time parents, we were anxious about putting our son in daycare, but we have been thrilled with our experience at Children's Lighthouse of Raleigh. The teachers in Room 1(Christina & Cortney) were incredible and super caring to our infant. As he have transitioned into Room 2, we have enjoyed watching our little guy grow and learn with the awesome teachers Amanda & Sam. Everyone in the building knows his name and says hello! Leadership is also very helpful and responsive. Shoutout Erin, Cammie & Sierra!

Our family is so grateful for all the great teachers at Children’s lighthouse of Raleigh who have cared for our two boys the last two years. Our youngest started in Room 1 with Ms. Christina & Ms. Cortney who are absolutely amazing and gave us a sense of peace knowing he was in good hands when mom had to return back to work. Then we watched our youngest son’s personality and motor skills develop even more by Ms. Amanda’s awesome encouragement in Room 2. He is now in Room 3 with Ms. Chelsea and Ms. Destinee where our oldest son started and having a blast! Our oldest has enjoyed learning from Ms. Key (Room 5) and Ms. Deja (Room 6). You can tell they both really care about our kids and enjoy their jobs. Both our sons have grown so much thanks to all the wonderful teachers and administrators!

We love the Children’s Lighthouse! Room 3 is phenomenal and Ms Chelsea is the bees knees! She is always attentive with her students and communicative with parents. My daughter absolutely adores her! We also had the opportunity to work with Ms Destinee for a little while before our daughter transitioned to the next room - and she was also a wonderful teacher! The administrative team is also a huge part of our positive experience. A big shoutout to Ms Cammie, Ms Erin and Ms Sierra!

We have been and are really enjoying Children's Lighthouse – it's been such a wonderful experience for our family. My older child has just blossomed since being here, and I have to give a huge shoutout to Deonna and Martika – they've made such a positive impact on her life and show such genuine care and support. I've noticed that not only has her learning and development improved, but her social skills and confidence have vastly increased.

And for our little one, the transition into daycare has been so smooth, all thanks to Christina and Cortney. They are so caring and have made me feel completely at ease leaving my baby in their hands. It's clear they really know what they're doing and have a true love for children.

Lighthouse has been a fantastic place for our child to grow. The teachers and administrators are all spectacular, but especially Christina, Cortney, Amanda, Sam, Sierra, Erin, and Cammie! We did so much research when we were picking a daycare for our child and this place was absolutely the right choice.

We switched schools and I was nervous of how my 2 yo would adapt. She is thriving in her classroom. She comes home singing songs, counting in English and Spanish. We hear all about her friends and her teachers (Ms Shadeja and Ms Willa). We are so thankful we made the switch and can’t wait to see her continue to grow and learn with the great teachers!

We love the Children’s Lighthouse of Raleigh! The facility is bright and inviting. Ms. Erin and Ma. Cammie are always there to greet us with a warm smile. Ms. Christina and Ms. Cortney are the best! They always are there with a smile and my son is comfortable being with them. As a first time parent sending my baby to daycare, they have made the transition so easy. They are super responsive and I feel at ease knowing my son is in the best care. All the staff is amazing! Everyone knows my son and is willing to help one another. It’s a fantastic community.

We love Children’s Lighthouse!! From the initial tour we knew this was the daycare we wanted our son in. He has been in the infant room for a month now - the teachers (Ms. Christina and Ms. Cortney) and all staff are amazing. We love getting the frequent updates and pictures sent throughout the day. He is well loved and looked after at Lighthouse and we are so thankful!

We've been supporters of Children's Lighthouse of Raleigh for many years now and my youngest daughter is currently thriving there. Her current teachers, Ms. Sam and Ms. Desire pay such close attention to her (and all the children in the class) and always share specific stories and anecdotes about her day with us at pick up. It shows that they are really present with the children and that they care. They are helping shape my daughter into the big girl she's becoming and I'm so grateful for them! We've loved every teacher we've engaged with at Children's Lighthouse and are excited to continue to watch my daughter learn and grow.

My son has been at Children's Lighthouse since March 2024, and we couldn’t be happier. Everyone knows my son's name, greets us with a smile, and his teachers are loving and invested. He’s now 2 years old and in Room 5 with Brittney and Key, and we adore them as much as he does. Sierra, Chelsea, Sam, and Desire have been wonderful along the way. Cammie, the director, is dedicated and hands-on in the classrooms. Erin keeps us in the loop, too, and the staff as a whole is always honest and eager to help.

He is learning so much, including Spanish, and absolutely loves his arts/crafts, music, and outdoor time! Despite his recent separation anxiety, he never cries at drop-off and always lights up when we pull into the parking lot. We had to choose a daycare during COVID which was not easy to do as new parents. We were given a virtual tour of several centers. We made our decision based off the center who responded the quickest and provided detailed information each time. I knew if I was getting this type of response as an inquiry that I would also receive that once my child started here. Boy, was I RIGHT! Every time I email, call, or message on the parent app I get a response within seconds! Thank you to all the teachers and administration for loving our baby! We are coming up on our one-year anniversary since our daughter started at this daycare. I can truly say that all the teachers and administration care deeply about the children and their well-being. Beyond being a great daycare and teaching our daughter, it is a great community for families. Ms. Key and Ms. Brittany are absolutely amazing and we are so thankful for them! Our daughter has truly blossomed since joining their classroom. She went from saying very little to a full vocabulary of words in recent months.
Cannot say enough good things about this place! As long as we have children, they will be attending Childrens Lighthouse!
