I have only worked with children’s light house since June. I can not explain how wonderful the place is, not only work with the staff to improve anything and everything. They work with parents as well. I have my daughter enrolled, and I’m just a few months she is already improved on her learning. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for childcare. My daughter was at a daycare nightmare before coming to lighthouse. This school is what a daycare should be. They Go above and beyond requirements and always wanting to pursue the highest education. My daughter who is 7 months old now was born 2 months premature and even though she is small she has grown so much and her skills being at this school. The teachers are amazing at the care of all the kids and the directors and office personal go above and beyond pleasing each family and accommodating most request that licensing will allow. Our 1.5 year old goes to Children's Lighthouse in Oak Point and we're pretty happy there. I love how quickly they communicate any time I call or email with a question or concern. I also LOVE the video monitoring I can watch on my phone while at work.

I was very picky choosing my child's first day care. And I was hesitant to take him anywhere to be honest.
They are pricier than most in the area but the facility is new and clean, the chef cooks healthy yet kid appealing foods, and the owner, Julie, takes so much pride in her business. She always greets me by name and makes sure to ask for recommendations if there's room for improvement. Read more >

I'd also like to add my 2 cents to one of the negative reviews. I am not family of anyone at this facility. I had never met any of the teachers or management at this facility before open house. My review is strictly based on my personal experience. It's unfortunate people are allowed to leave such hateful, inaccurate reviews when an employment opportunity simply didn't work out. Read my accurate, unbiased review and then go visit the facility. That's all I ask. When you walk in the door of this facility, you will see exactly where I am coming from. Within the past few weeks I have been sooo impressed with this daycare. The teachers and staff were hired very strategically! Not often that you find a center where you get to see and meet the owner. Her presence makes me feel very more happier about changing daycares. I am very HAPPY with this center and would highly recommend it. My family has been very happy with the center. Keep in mind his center just opened a month ago and with all the things that COULD go wrong they have done an excellent job with my job and keeping him happy, safe and clean. Read more >

My son is 2.5 years old and this is the second facility that he is attending so far. The first one was a Montessori School, which I also love the place and now, Children's Light House, which makes our days so easier for being very close to our home. My son cried for the first two weeks to go there, but not every day. And when he did, it took like 10 minutes to stop after I dropped him in the school, which is pretty normal in his age. Now, actually today, he said to me in the morning: Mama, I need to go to school! OMG, I got so happy to hear that from him, he was happy and excited to come there and having a fun day with his friends and teachers. His teachers are very nice and lovely to the Kids and they have been doing fun activities and good work in the class, so I am sure that all the Kids get to enjoy it! I cannot say enough!!! I feel like the biggest weight has been lifted since we started here..all of the staff is amazing. They are on point with everything. Always. They are in tune with the kids needs and parents expections...and have exceeded what I expected by far. We moved from a west frisco school (un named but well known) and I can't even put into words how happy I am. The owner put her heart and souls into making it what it is. It really is what every parent wants for the child. From treatment, to food to curriculum and outside play. They even have foot covers before entering the infant area! That is effort!
