We absolutely love Children’s Lighthouse of Oak Point! Both of our children attend, and we’ve had such a wonderful experience. You can truly tell that the teachers and staff genuinely care about the children and their well-being. They are attentive, caring, and make our kids feel loved, safe, and comfortable.

I’m very particular when it comes to choosing a daycare for my son because we’ve had some not-so-great experiences in the past. I can honestly say that I feel 100% comfortable and confident with the people caring for him here.

One of my favorite things is that they have cameras, so I’m able to check in on him throughout the day whenever I want. It gives me so much peace of mind knowing I can see how he’s doing.

The teachers are incredibly kind, patient, and caring, and I can genuinely tell that they care about the children. Whenever we have a question or concern, the staff is very receptive and makes a real effort to address it. They always make us feel heard and comfortable as parents. Children’s Lighthouse OakPoint is the best early learning center my family has encountered. We have been through two other daycares and this is by far the best experience. All three of my kids have attended here. From the curriculum, to the teachers, the cleanliness of the facility, the community involvement, and philanthropy are top tier. The administration team is outstanding, which I believe sets the tone for the entire staff. Couldn’t ask for a better communication system. They truly care about every child that attends. It’s a great feeling to drop your kids off at school and not have to worry while you work.

We have been sending our kids to Lighthouse since our oldest daughter was 8 months old. We absolutely love the staff, the curriculum and the values they instill in our children. This is not a daycare where someone is simply watching your kids for the day, it’s a school where the kids are learning broad topics and making forever friends.

Our son (11 months) has been attending Children’s Lighthouse of Oak Point since he was 3 months old. We have loved having him there, and the people, environment, and quality of care couldn’t be better. My wife and I both have to work, and we were really upset that we had to put him in daycare at such a young age, but it’s gotten much easier thanks to Children’s Lighthouse. 10/10 would recommend!

I enrolled my child at Children's Lighthouse about a month ago and have been so pleasantly surprised by the care and patience they have for him. The classroom teachers (Ms Mariah and Ms Bri) are responsive and kind. There are very regularly daily updates on the app and significant diversity in daily activities for the children. There's even a splash pad on premises! The administration, especially Heather who gave us our initial tour, is friendly, professional and confidence-inspiring which I cherish because it comes across as so respectful of our family and our time. It's been a blessing so far to have our child here.

Any parents considering the school reading this who want to connect please let me know! I know the process to find a school for your little one can be fraught!

We have been at lighthouse in oak point for nearly two years. Having come from another lighthouse, this one is a breath of fresh air. The teachers miss shanta, miss sutapa (room 8), miss allison, miss yaya, and miss cici (room 9) are absolutely fantastic. Our daughter has absolutely flourished under their care and we haven’t regretted our decision for one moment. Tonight she graduated from APK, what a wonderful experience! Our daughter will go into kinder reading, writing, simple addition and subtraction and even understanding fractions. She absolutely loves science and has enjoyed learning a little bit of Spanish and sign language! If you are trying to decide which school to go to, you cannot strike out with Oakpoint Children’s Lighthouse!

Leaving our beloved daycare feels incredibly bittersweet. Both of my sons had the privilege of growing up in this nurturing, loving environment—one starting at just 3 months old and the other shortly after turning one. From the very beginning, the staff made the transition from having a nanny at home feel seamless. I was so nervous about placing my children in someone else’s care, but the hands-on attention, warmth, and communication gave me complete peace of mind.

My daughter has attended Oak Point Children’s Lighthouse for over 6 years. It’s been a great experience for her as well as my husband and I. She loves waking up every weekday morning excited to see her teachers and fellow classmates. She’s built quite the relationship with both. The front office is prompt and always follows the correct protocol in any incident. Our child has been safe through this pandemic. Our son who attends Oak Point Elementary does participate in the before and after school care offered during the academic school year. He enjoys the childcare the the setting that facility offers. Please consider them as a provider of choice and take any negative reviews with a grain of salt as salty people have to tell somebody about their feelings.
There is no perfect center, so you won’t find one. Instead, understand this place is just a group of imperfect people striving for excellence in child care everyday.
